    Speakers Vibrate Television

    There are these mini sub woofer looking things on the back. I Thought immediately when I unpacked the tv that they looked out of place and might be a problem. In short, they vibrate the plastic panels on the tv when there is even a small amount of bass coming through and even when the is at low volume. The vibrating sound is very annoying. It makes any program with music basically unwatchable. If I don’t hear the vibrating noise, I’m anticipating the next a bass drops. I will most likely be taking this tv back, it’s a design flaw an 8 y-o could point out may be a problem.

    Holy crap! Good tv its need google play app for the movies! At least my 200 movies went to Youtube i purchase mostly 4K! U need fast internet!

    Purchased the TV on May 25th and it was delivered May 30th. 1st week of June I hooked up the new XBOX with high end gaming HDMI and it worked fine. Within 1 week of use the TV started to black out during game play. I ordered a new Xbox and cable to see if that was the issue and it was not, it was still the TV. I called Best Buy to discuss and they told me I could not return it and that I needed to talk to Samsung directly. Absolutely absurd as I spend $5,000 dollars on this freaking thing! Horrible customer service and product doesn’t work correctly at 120 HZ Gaming mode. I don’t think their new tech is spotless yet and I would give it some time before you switch to the new 8k gen.

      Hi BadTv,

      I am very sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues using your QN900B TV with your Xbox. You may want to try turning on Input Signal Plus. Press Home and navigate to Settings > All Settings > Connection > External Device Manager > Input Signal Plus and turn it on for HDMI port your Xbox is connected to.

      We also recommend enabling Anynet+ on your TV. Go to: Settings > All Settings > Connection > External Device Manager > Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) = On. Next, connect your gaming console using an HDMI cable, and then turn it on - it will automatically connect to the TV.

      To ensure your TV’s performance is fully optimized, please also be sure you’re running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an update available by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now.

    how to fix that speaker issue

    In a review above from "GreatSounds" he noted that the speakers make a rattling sound. I had the same issue - here's the fix: Basically, there's an array of passive radiators on the back of the TV. You have to be sure that nothing is touching them. If something is touching them, they will rattle. In my case, they were rattling because they were vibrating against my USB and HDMI cables plugged into the TV.

    Absolutely LOVE this TV. My husband and I enjoy entertaining friends and family most weeks and it always revolves around watching something on TV. This has made our experience, and theirs, so much more fun and exciting! We have already had two of our friends buy the same TV because they loved it, too. The picture quality is perfect and the main screen and apps are super easy to navigate. It was also a piece of cake to set up and took less than 30 minutes from taking it out of the box to watching our favorite show on a streaming network. Samsung really didn't cut any corners when designing this model. I recommend everyone try it out, it will change the quality of your entertainment!!
