Picture looks fantastic, incredibly bright, PS5 and Xbox Series X look incredible. Only thing that keeps it from being 5 star is the unbelievable lack of HDMI 2.1 ports, for the price of this all 4 ports should be 2.1.

I couldn't be happier with this TV. I wasn't interested in OLED and from all the research I did, this was the best LED for my budget. I have no regrets at all. Amazing picture and I don't have any issues with sound. No reflectivity issues with ceiling lighting and the black levels are fantastic. I have it in the basement game room and use it for streaming movies, and PS4 gaming. The software interface is easy to navigate.

This TV is of great quality and has been functioning well! The colors are outstanding, minus the red which is blown out a little. But, overall, this has been the best tv we have ever owned!

The picture quality on this tv is insane, it gets incredibly bright and has amazing colors. This is the closest tv I have found to OLED, it definitely doesn't compare to an OLED if you did a side by side comparison but in the real world you will still find yourself amazed by the picture quality. My main issue with this tv is Samsung's horrible UI which bombards you with ads and is just horribly laid out. It takes several clicks to get anywhere and doesnt compare to LG's UI which is significantly better. Also the Local Dimming setting is horribly broken. If you turn it on high, it makes each scene look better by increasing contrast and brightness while still keeping blacks dark but once massive downside is the overexposure of skin tones. It is a very distracting issue that even my wife noticed. It is very obvious that the software needs tweaked as the tv struggles when quickly going from dark to light and is the most notable with skin tones, the worse scenes for this are if someone walks in front of another person and the scenes goes dark from their clothes and then has to go back to the other person which is much brighter, the screen almost flashes as it tries to quickly get back up to the higher brightness and then quickly realizes that is too bright and then returns to normal. It is very weird and I find myself constantly turning off the local dimming entirely but the TV only looks like an OLED with this feature enabled otherwise it just looks like a regular tv. One big surprise for me was how good the tv speakers are. They are genuinely the best tv speakers I have ever heard. Significantly better than the LG CX or the Sony X90j. Normally I immediately get a sound bar for tvs but these speakers are so good I havent felt the need to go out and spend the extra money on a sound bar. I can watch movies like Mad Max and feel perfect fine about the speakers. But obviously a sound bar will sound much better and fuller but if you are someone who wants to save a few dollars as you just spent a small fortune on a tv then they are awesome or if you have a spouse who doesnt like the bass heavy and loud sound bars then this is the tv for you. Overall not at all as consistent as my LG CX OLED but close enough to get the job done and without the fear of burn in or image retention always being in the back of your mind.

Finally found a tv to replace my Sony Z9D! The picture quality is fantastic on the qn90a. I am a total Sony guy, but this Samsung really grabbed my attention on display. Samsung tv’s always had crazy colors, but this one was more controlled and punchy like my Sony. Very immersive. Design and build quality are first class. This tv is thin and flexes!? Yikes. Be very careful transporting and setting up. A 2 person job, no doubt. I judge a new tv by its ability to just unbox, turn it on and enjoy without adjusting settings a million times. I would return a tv like that. This Samsung is very fun to watch out of the box! A couple of things to change would be in general settings/power and energy settings...turn them off——-instantly a much brighter picture. Also, in picture settings/expert settings—turn local dimming to high—again adds brightness and punch. YES! Medium is default for whatever reason. There is a whole mess of custom settings if that is your thing. This is gaming beast. Personally, I am a Nintendo Switch gamer. It looks awesome on this tv. I even turned on contrast enhancer to add even more vibrancy to those crazy Mario colors. Input lag is so good that I was dying less in game. Sweet. One last thing. All backlit lcd tv’s have some uniformity/dirty screen. If you get a panel where it is too noticeable, exchange it.

This set has a really beautiful picture. It is sharp and very bright. It is fairly easy to customize the picture and sound settings. My DirecTV does not have 4K input, but the picture is still quite good. On the down side, the built in speakers are quite poor, as expected on a very thin TV. You will really need a good quality sound bar or receiver to fully enjoy the sound. In addition, the only way to really connect the receiver is with the HDMI output. I ended up needing a new receiver in order to connect. All in all, a very good set.

We purchased the NeoQLED to replace an LG OLED65B7A that had severe burn-in and neither LG nor the extended warranty wanted to cover. This QN90A Neo QLED QN65QN90AAFXZA is PHENOMENAL, matches or beats the so-called superior features of the OLED including wide viewing angle, color saturation, and high contrast, with the added security of knowing we won't be dealing with burn-in from normal viewing. Plus, far less image retention than OLED gives the image a more fluid feel. Localized dimming is just about as great as the OLED image. No halos around bright objects, and processor speed is far better than our old OLED. I did have to replace a HDMI cable from my wall jack to the unit as the Samsung didn't work with it, but when I did replace the cable, other issues cleared up as well, so it also helped diagnose my Home Entertainment system as well :-). If you're in the market for a high-performance smart TV and you're thinking of an OLED, PLEASE take a look at the NeoQLED FIRST, and ask yourself if any subtle (or perceived) differences in image quality is worth your having to replace a 4 year old OLED due to burn-in with no product support.

This is an absolutely amazing t.v. The picture quality is second to none, whether on movie mode or the standard mode for sports. Colors and contrast are excellent. Set up with a sonos sound bar on the optical output and we have an unbelievable experience. The remote is very user friendly as is the on screen menus for picture, sound and input. I could not possibly be happier with my choice.

Beautiful picture and very advanced solar charging capable remote. Not thrilled about the interface that seems to always default or he Samsung tv channel. Maybe there is a command away from that but I don’t know it quite yet. Please be aware that the picture, while pristine, is VERY bright. We bought this for a fully covered porch usage (installation Nov 3), and decided to use it in the meantime inside the home. it’s too bright for us inside as we don’t use a ton of interior lighting. but, it’s a fine unit as a whole for an LEd and the “challenges” are minor.

      Poppy,

Thank you for choosing Samsung's QN90A Neo QLED 4K TV and for sharing your thoughts on the image quality, as well as the Autorun feature. Please know that you can choose what your TV does when you turn it on by going to Settings > General > Smart Features

      1) When you set Autorun Smart Hub to on, the TV displays the Home Screen automatically when you turn the TV on.
      2) If Autorun Last App is set to on, the last used app is automatically run when you turn on the TV. Please know that the Last App Used function may not work with all apps.

If you are uncomfortable with the default brightness settings, you can customize the brightness level between 0 – 50 to your preference. Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Brightness.

You can also try different Picture Modes to see which best fits your needs. Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode for the below choices:
      1) Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
      2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience.
      3) Movie: Is suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.
      4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
      5) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.

Intelligent Mode also enables the TV to recognize and analyze the surroundings, noise, content, and your usage patterns to provide the best viewing experience. You can enable Intelligent Mode by going to Home > Settings > General > Intelligent Mode Settings. Adaptive Picture, which is among the options, optimizes brightness and provides the best picture quality in real time, based on the lighting condition and the content you're viewing.

I hope these tips help. If there is anything we can do to further assist and improve your user experience, please do let us know by contacting Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (ask for TVs), available 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week.
