This is an excellent TV. I do think the A80k had a much better picture quality, and higher contrast levels, but this tv is bright and enjoyable to watch. I bought it because the Sony was way too dark. It’s a beautiful tv.

I recently purchased a Samsung QN90B TV and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The TV itself is fantastic - the picture quality is amazing. The display (clarity, brightness, anti-glare) is fantastic -- a HUGE step up from our previous smart TV in a bright room. If you make this TV tne center of your experience, or have all current-generation equipment, it's absolutely top-notch. What I wish were different: (1) The TV refuses to accept a HDMI 1.3 signal from my older stereo receiver and the audio return channel (ARC) requirement cannot be turned off. I can't run multiple cables through the wall to let the TV manage everything, so I have a connectivity nightmare. (2) Samsung, PLEASE add a "source" button the the remote. Changing inputs is too cumbersome. (3) Multi-view is too limited -- I can't view an HDMI source along with a TV/antenna input, smart home camera feed, or second HDMI source. (4) mirroring from an Android device works well, but AirPlay devices always display in a split screen format even though I turned off the AutoStart function for that feature. BOTTOM LINE: If you want to manage everything through this TV, have only one wired HDMI input, or have an HDMI 1.4 ARC compatible receiver, it can't be beat. If you have a smart home with distributed audio & several video sources, look closely at the specs -- there are challenges. BUT, I reiterate, this is a GORGEOUS display that's ideal for bright rooms.

This TV screen is extreamly reflective. Even through a side of a north facing window the light reflexs colored strips. The TV will get very bright and has excellent clarity. At times its very annoying. TV is fantastic in a dark or very low light room otherwise you will see colored bars from any sunlight. The strange thing is that the bars are green with gold color on each side seperated by small black strips. Looks like a piece of fabric.

Excellent picture and contrast whether in a lit room or totally dark. . Love the brightness. Would purchase again. Coupled with the Samsung sound bar and subwoofer has amazing sound too.

Excellent picture, no washout in bright room. Colors pop, we can see those dark scenes in the mystery and procedural shows much better. Solar recharge remote should be the industry standard. Very happy!

I love my tv. Super clear. Works well with my Apple TV. It was perfect size and exactly what I was looking for. Blacks are super dark. Everyone always compliments the picture quality.

Great TV, the picture is very clear and easy to use. I would recommend buying a Samsung Q Series Soundbar with it. The sound bar I had kept cutting out until I bought a Q Series Soundbar

Really enjoy this television. It has a very clear picture and easy to use. The price was resonable.

Pros: Picture quality Cons: The Samsung TV OS is terrible. There's no display information (e.g. resolution) on screen so I have no clue what the picture quality is. The "smart" connection detection is okay but it seems to be more for controlling other devices from the Samsung remote The remote is...not good. Tiny and no backlight. When I switch my home theater receiver (Marantz Cinema 50) from XBOX to Sat/Cable the TV loses the input signal 25% of the time. This also happens when I switch games on the XBOX sometimes. I'm not sure why but it is annoying. I might try some different HDMI cables but these are new and they worked fine with my last TV.

Excellent experience with Best Buy. This Screen is amazing. Had the TV unboxed, installed and ready in no time. The picture is bright and the colors are brilliant.

This is my 4th Samsung tv. My first was a plasma in 2008. This is easily the best tv I’ve ever owned. The brightness, contrast and dynamic colors are outstanding!

Took some time to decide which TV I wanted and choose the Samsung over the Sony and havent regretted it. Great picture. Great controls to tune it to your preferences.

Great TV, this tv is amazing with all it has, smart viewing, smart volume with Dolby sound , Dynamic colors all around Great. The only thing i didn't like hence only 4 star do not have Dolby Vision, but it does have HDR10+... Great buy im happy with it.

I researched a lot of TV's prior to buying this one. I couldn't make the jump to OLED as I watch a lot of sports and worry about burn-in due to static news tickers (ESPN) and logos in the lower right corner. CNET stated that this TV was the closest to OLED you could buy and they're 100% right. The brightness is amazing since it's a QLED TV. The stock audio is pretty decent but I have soundbar so that's not important to me. I love this TV and this should hold me off until MicroLED hits mainstream OR they figure out how to stop OLED burn-in (doubtful).

My living room is southern facing and has large windows. Its cery bright. This TV outperforms in those conditions. The picture wualtiy is superb. Great purchase.
