The sound is also excellent and became movie theater quality when I connected my Samsung sound bar to it.

I've been watching OLED tv prices as I believe their image quality to be far superior. The shadowing and texture of the tv is way better than most of our regular shows but the upscaling or whatever tech is used makes it great. The audio is limited in volume and total presence. We'll definitely want to be adding a sound bar with a subwoofer.

I didn’t want a smart tv but I was able to find a way to avoid going to the smart menu all the time. It’s doing well for me so far except I haven’t figured out why it shuts off automatically after 4 hours of continuous use

Thank you for your review of Samsung's S85D OLED. If your TV appears to turn off by itself, please try disabling some of the TV's energy efficiency functions.
See if Sleep Timer has been enabled. The Sleep Timer automatically turns the TV off after a specific period of time. Go to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > System Manager > Time > Sleep Timer
If the Sleep Timer has not been enabled, see if Auto Power Off or Off Timer have been enabled and disable it.
- Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Power and Energy Saving > Auto Power Off
- Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > System Manager > Time > Off Timer

I wasn’t liking how it looked then it started getting better when I got home. The picture was so super clear. I asked my wife what happened to the TV now I wish I would have kept it but if the Samsung 65 inch S 90 D go on sale before my two months I will get that one. Super great picture.

Im a bit disappointed in the picture , even in 4k some of the images are blurry sometime. I thought I did well by getting an OLED to help combat that but this is my first OLED so maybe there is some sort of setting I need to adjust.the sound from the speakers is not so good I have to turn it up pretty high to hear especially if there is some other background noise.Overall its a great tv especially since I got it on sale.
