AWESOME TELEVISION

The colors can be adjusted vividly bright. Even the built in speakers have a theater like sound. I’ve paid over $3,000 for tv’s in the past but this is by far the nicest I have ever owned. For $799 you will seriously love it.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased a Samsung QN55Q8CAM the pictures was nice and clear until about 19 months. Then the picture was blurry and fuzzy on half of the screen. Samsung replaced the panel. After about 9 months a horizontal line appeared at the bottom of the screen I contacted Samsung and they gave me a local service shop to call. The service shop informed me that Samsung replacement parts were only quarantined for 90 days. It would cost me between $500 - $1000 to replace the panel. I chose not to replace the panel. Why spend money on material that is only good for 90 days. Beware before you purchase Samsung TV’s. After checking Samsung’s Community forum, there are 100s of complaints about the issue of horizontal lines across the bottom of screen.

For example, sometimes you have to watch a 15-second long ads before starting YouTube/Netflix. The UX is somewhat laggy and poorly design for a $700+ TV.

To optimize the smart TV performance, please try Device Care option under the Support Menu. Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care
This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps.
Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Settings>Support>Software Update.
