Great t.v.

The user interface & apps are really smooth. The t.v. is quite light being so large. I just wish it had more than 2 usb ports. Since I have a Samsung phone it's great & handy to use the phone as a remote.

The picture quality is sharp, bright, and vibrant, with great color accuracy right out of the box. The UHD resolution really brings out details, especially when streaming 4K content. Motion handling is smooth, and the viewing angles are wide enough for the whole family to enjoy from anywhere in the room. The sound quality is surprisingly full and clear for a flat-screen TV, and the built -in speakers handle dialogue and music nicely. Setup was simple, and the Tizen smart platform is fast, intuitive and loaded with all the major streaming apps. Overall this TV delivers excellent value for the price. It's perfect for both movies and gaming and it easily became the centerpiece of my living room. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality 4K Smart TV.

I looked at some Samsung QLED TV's, but this TV had a very good picture & features for an extremely good price. A really good value. I connected it to my Samsung sound bar, a really good home theatre combo.

Sometimes the home screen takes time to load. Only one HDMI input which is really disappointing. I should have checked first but I would never imagine a brand noew TV would only have one input. Also, does not work with my JBL bar unless I use blue tooth but the result of that is mismatched screen to audio. Actually after typing this I went from 3 to 2 stars.

Thank you for your feedback. Please know the U7900 TV has two HDMI ports available. If the image feels overly harsh—especially in darker rooms - there are several settings you can adjust to improve your viewing experience.
Start by changing the Picture Mode: Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
We recommend trying one of the following:
• Movie – Softer contrast and lower brightness, ideal for dark room viewing
• Standard – Balanced for general everyday use
• Filmmaker Mode – Provides a more natural, accurate picture as intended by content creators
To further fine-tune, go to: Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings. Here, you can manually adjust Brightness, Contrast, Sharpness, and Contrast Enhancer (consider turning this off for a softer image).
You may also want to review your TV’s energy-saving features, which can automatically affect brightness based on your environment: Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Power and Energy Saving
Lastly, ensure your TV has the latest firmware installed, as updates can improve picture performance: Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now
