Beautiful machine, until it breaks

For the money we spent, I expected at least 5-7 years, if not a full decade. The drum broke after 23 months. The drum. It is not a replacement part, nobody will service, and you are stuck with a massive beautiful paperweight. Went with Whirlpool. Until Samsung puts some quality in their laundry machines, will not buy again.

There have been times when the dryer will continue to stay on for HOURS after the clothes are dry creating a complete fire hazard. Dryer is barely 1.5 and heat element has already gone out, lint trap broken, complete waste of $$! DO NOT BUY

We have had our unit less than 3 years, so you would expect it to last longer. Now we have to wait 2 days just for a repairman to call. We will not by another Samsung dryer (or washer) again.

The dryness detector is supposed to stop the dryer once your laundry reaches the desired level of dry but even set on "very dry" it will still be damp. Basically if you use any setting other than "timed dry" and add time to it your stuff will not be dry when the machine stops.

This does not have a low setting with sensor to determine when it is dry. Only low setting on time dry. Also it just broke after a year and half. Not going to purchase Samsung again. Cannot even get service from Best Buy, must call Samsung directly.

BS. The cycle just keeps on going for hours. I initially called and they changed the heat sensor but that still did not fix the problem. I hope to save some other woman or man the misery of having to deal with this washer and dryer set. I wish I never purchased it and it wasn’t cheap
