The door is too low, when you open the door, clean clothes fall out to the floor. The barrel has a bad design, it twists and knots up my sheets. There is no dryer rack for this dryer per Samsung - all their other dryers do - and I feel it is because they made a bad design and are not supporting it. It does steam well, gets out wrinkles, there are good things about this dryer, but the 3 I described above are the reason I am giving it a poor rating.

Serial number 0ARV5BAKC02015T Dryer does not dry! Recently moved to a new home and thought we were "upgrading" (not) from a Samsung DV7000 at the prior home that was a much better dryer. No matter what cycle is chosen dryer shuts off long before items are dried. We have tried Normal, Heavy, Timed, etc and we have to try to "fool" the dryer to get items dried. The Normal 1:15 medium heat cycle is a joke! Almost impossible to get high heat for any type of load. 1 set of queen cotton sheets takes over 1.5 hours to dry, by having to constantly monitor and keep starting the dry after premature shut off. Can't believe Samsung has built such an awful dryer. Dryer deserves a "0", but your site will not allow it.

We bought a Samsung Dryer DV45H7000EW/A2. DO NOT, repeat DO NOT buy a Samsung Dryer. Ours has had 6 service calls in less than 3 years. It's a lemon. 4 times the idler pulleys have worn out and started making loud noises and 2 times the heat stopped working. I called Samsung to report this and see if they could do anything for me. Absolutely not was the response and when I asked for a manager, they put me on hold, and then the call disconnected. The worst appliance we ever purchased.

Takes too much time to dry. I've had other dryers that were much better than this. I read good things about Samsung but I will never buy another one of their appliances.

The dryer idler pulley system is purposely designed to fail, so that you will have to buy a new one. The thing melted off, because of a $8 part that wouldn't spin, they should have used a ball bearing design. When asked about the faulty product, they said that they need a service person to come out and see the problem. I advise that you look for a GE dryer. A company that knows what it's doing.

Bought it at the end of 2018 and this dryer is already done. It doesn't work at all

This dryer sucks. Spend a little more money and get a better dryer. We purchased this here at Best Buy in Nov. of 2016, now it’s broken and we have to spend $200 on replacement parts less than 2 years later. Warranty is for a year and then they break. Horrible.

A vast combination of selections. Unfortunately few if one does not want to dry clothes on the "high" setting. The only selection I have found to do so is the basic "time dry" setting which negates any other choices. Second: this unit would be well looked as a "drier", but not a dryer. Meaning if you just want to DRY your clothes without running a second cycle, good luck. I like my clothes to be dry, not still moist upon completion.

I bought this dryer a little over a year ago. The drum has a crack in it and is an expensive repair. It's a known problem with Samsung but they refuse to recall it or pay for repairs. Apparently it is made with cheap metal and it eventually cracks. I have never had a dryer do this. My last one last 15 years.

Have owned the Samsung washer and dryer set since July of 2017. Dryer has already required service for a burned out heating element. Contacted Samsung and was informed they would send out a service tech at my cost. No assistance at all. Do not buy something with a one year warranty. This was not a cheap dryer

I have dried the same medium sized load 4 times and it's still not dry! I finally gave up and set the clothing out to dry! I will be returning this set tomorrow. I have done 2 loads of laundry and its taken 4 hours!!

Nope. Will not buy another Samsung. I purchased my dryer in 2018. Had issues almost immediately. Less than three years later, it’s running nonstop, no heat and appears to be a major wiring issue.

Dead after three years, and local repair shops refuse to deal with Samsung and LG dryers. They are both made by the same mfg.
