This dryer does everything you would expect it to, and does those things quite well and quite effortlessly. Where this machine stands out is the steam cycles that allow you to refresh, de-wrinkle, or sanitize a load. I detest ironing with a passion reserved for very few things... And this dryer keeps me happy by producing fresh, wrinkle-free (for the most part) clothes. My favorite feature is the SmartHome connectivity that allows me to start, stop, monitor, and adjust cycles on my dryer remotely from my smartphone. Setup was easy and has saved me countless trips down to the basement laundry room to see if a cycle has completed. Now i get notifications on my phone and can even set reminders if I don't immediately attend to the ended cycle. That's progress!! A word about capacity... I first bought the matching steam washer, which is marvelous in its own right, but it produced loads that overcrowded my old dryer (other brand). Loads took forever to dry and they came out wrinkly and twisted. This Samsung dryer is cavernous and easily and quickly handles any sized load my washer produces.

This dryer does everything I need. It does seem to take a bit longer to dry heavy cotton bath mats than the dryer I was accustomed to but I use the "time dry" option for an hour and then again for another hour as needed. It is very quiet, as is the washer part of the set. Maybe there is a way to make it dry hotter or longer and I just haven't found it yet.

Whenever o walk through my laundry room, I can't help it stare at my awesome looking washer and dryer. It looks like I'm in the Matrix. Plus they wash like champs.

This Samsung Dryer is very smart. I never have to recycle twice to make sure all the clothes are fully dry. Nobody enjoys wearing damp pants when you’re running short on time to leave the house. Do other things in your house instead of making a few trips to see if your clothes are dry since you can monitor the time on your mobile device. The wrinkle free & static feature is great! The dryer is fairly quiet at least more so than our 7 year old dryer. This size dryer is great now that I can do one large load compared to doing two loads in the old dryer. Everybody loves to be able to cut down the laundry loads. A fat, fluffy King size bed comforter has no problems fitting inside this dryer. This is definitely worth spending the money on and it’s just a little more stress taken off of my mind. We highly recommend this dryer. You will need to purchase the extra kit for the steam feature for wrinkle free clothes. Of coarse I opted out of buying the steam kit but our installer gave me one free of charge and I’m so glad I am able to use this feature. Money well spent. This product gets Two Thumbs Up!

The dryers capacity is awesome allowing for larger loads then what I was having to do previously. The dryer is very quiet when running which is a plus. The options and capabilities are easy to understand and operate and there is a wide range of choices.

Again a large capacity, very quiet and gets the clothes dry first time even with a large load. Also the steam is nice to quickly freshen up what ever you want.

Clothes come out very clean and dry, and cycle times are reasonable for an HE washer. The unit is also relatively quiet. The pre-wash sink is great for homes without a laundry-room sink. For anyone who has seen the videos of the old design and thought it looked clunky, the new design is much improved.

had trouble getting the app to connect on my non-samsung phone (if it's not bringing up the info to connect wifi and just keeps trying to load, try turning airplane mode on), but pretty neat novelty once i got it working! dryer is very efficient and even does well with king comforter and pillows!

When I bought this to replace my 14 year old dryer (that was still functional -- somewhat) I had no idea it had a water hose hookup on the back. When the installer came to install it, I inquired about the water hose running to the dryer and he said -- "Well sir, that is for the steam cycle." -- Steam?? wow, I really have been living in a cave the past 14 years. I never imagined water running to my dryer was actually a thing! I haven't tried it yet, but I will have to give it ago one of these days. This dryer compared to my old one, has A LOT of features just like the washer I paired it with. I generally use the timer option, but I wouldn't doubt this thing can probably cook eggs and noodles as well. Unlike the washer which has no way for me to see my clothes during an active cycle, at least the dryer has a window on the front hatch so I can look in and see my clothes tumbling around. I love it! I just wish the window wasn't so tinted... but it's better than not being able to see inside at all. Oh, and this dryer has the wifi notification feature like its washer counterpart. Just install the app on your phone/tablet and connect it to your home wifi. It gives you info about whether the door on either machine is opened, or a cycle gets finished.

This dryer and matching washer are my 2017 favs. It has so many functions and is easy to use. The steamer is awesome. It dries towels and bedding in a short amount of time and gets wrinkles out in a flash.

Great capacity. Worth the upgrade from the next lower model to get the stainless steel drum. Not as quiet as I thought it would be. I like the automatic settings. Dries faster than any we have had before.

I never knew a dryer could be so good. It has steam in the dryer and it dries clothes on many different cycles and it is so quiet. It is a wonderful dryer. I love using it.

We recently purchased a new Samsung Dryer. It is very easy to operate and the noise level is impressively low. The installation team was quick and efficient.

This dryer is great! The large capacity makes sure we can wash large loads of linens without worrying about items getting tangled up and not drying properly. The sensor dry feature really works - it helps to monitor the time and temperature to dry clothes thoroughly, avoiding heat damage. So even if you set the dryer for an hour, it will stop the cycle once the clothes are all dry.

Big capacity, efficient dry at a good price. Wife very happy.

Easy to install and use, dries clothes fast and efficiently

I love, love, love my new Samsung washer and dryer! Simply the best, gets my clothes clean, very quiet and love the steam on the dryer most of all because I tend to forget that I have a load in. The only complaint I have is the sounds that they make when the cycles are done - very musical but not load enough for me to hear in another room.
