A little disappointed

Manually maxes out around an hour and 20 minutes roughly. On normal with heat on high dryness on high it maxes out at one hour which is not enough if you have a few pairs Of jeans and towel or two

Trouble in the hotspot

It has a very odd problem while trying to dry anything more than 4 bed sheets and 2 bath towels at the same time. We end up with a huge ball of these items.. and nothing gets dried!!!! Very upsetting.

Thought they would be better!

Not sure if it's something me or the wife doing wrong but it tends to stop drying out of no were. I've read that it senses when the clothing is dry but it has never been dry before it stops.

And I want to apologize if stops drying out of nowhere and if it does dry before the cycle stops. If your dryer is heating but the clothes are still damp, your vent is probably blocked. If your dryer has weak heat and runs for a long time, that could also be a blocked vent. And if your dryer ends after only a couple of minutes with soaking wet clothes, your moisture sensors could be dirty. And these are only some of the possible causes.
To make sure you're performing the right troubleshooting steps, first determine if your dryer has hot air at all, then we'll guide you through the steps to resolve your issue.

I can not believe this is a Samsung

I bought this because Samsung is normally top notch in quality. However this dryer, even though it says it has 12 options, it really does not. Unless you use the time dry, basically all the cycles are high heat, and they can not be adjusted. On the delicates you have low heat, but only 35 minutes and can not adjust the time. My clothes take forever to dry, and if you only have a couple items, it will stop well before it is dry. The wrinkle prevent, does not prevent wrinkles. In fact everything comes out wrinkled and damp!!! I have spent more money on wrinkle prevention products, I have never had to do with any other dryer I have ever owned. I even called Samsung and had them send a tech to check it out. He gave me a list of things I had to do to make sure my clothes were dry and wrinkle free. My queen size comforter barely fits inside of it, and I have to pull it out all the time and adjust it to make sure it drys. This dryer causes more work then it is worth. I am actually considering just buying a new one. Do not waste your money on this one. It is a far cry from Samsung’s normal high standards

Open box like new condition

Door installed wrong

Drying

Would not recommend

Best Buy must change their policy toward masking.

Our washer and dryer were delivered by two men who were not vaccinated and had NO masks with them. We feel that is most irresponsible given the fact that we are still in the middle of a pandemic. I don't blame your employees, but rather the Best Buy lack of policy, which advertises otherwise. For the sake of your employees, as well as your customers, it is unconscionable not to endorse vaccination and/or masking mandates. I had written to Best Buy about this right after the washer and dryer were installed ( about a month ago) and did not receive any response. I hope this critique will not simply be ignored. You owe a change to all involved.

Worse installers

But my review is for the quality of delivery. Never again will I purchase anything from Best Buy again, due to the communication I have had with them. Every time I contact them they hang up on me. I paid for install and for parts. The people that they hired out, messed up my door and my baseboards and didn’t even install correctly which led to gas leaking in my home. It has been such a horrible experience on that end. Each time I reach out they give me the round around! Please be careful because Best Buy sub contracts out to diff people and those people will come back and say it’s on Best Buy and it goes back and forth. I still haven’t gotten my door situated yet

Horrible!! Piece of JUNK!

Purchased both washer and dryer, less than 18 months later, both stopped working within a couple of months of each other. Warranty only lasts a year. Threw a fit with Samsung and they repaired washer (would’ve cost $600 to repair -rollers wouldn’t spin) and now I’m going to have to pay almost $300 to repair the dryer (motherboard went out). I would NOT recommend any Samsung products after this disaster. Buy the cheapest washer and dryer you can find because appliances do not last like they used to. If I could give this zero stars I would!

Piece of Junk - Don't Buy

Had Samsung's approved technician come out and replace all the parts he could...didn't fix it. We now have to wait for them to order more parts and schedule another appointment. Meanwhile, we have no way to dry out clothes. Piece of advice, the technician said this was ridiculous and to purchase from Costco in the future, as their return time is much longer than Best Buys. Thanks for a headache I don't need and shouldnt have Best Buy and Samsung.
