I was testing this at home with a wet rug. And always wondered why it stops before the timer counts down to 0. Appearntly it's smart enough to sense water vapor. IF no more water vapor, then it will stop before it knows all contents are dry and saves you electric bill. Awesome!

We bought our first home and this was our first big purchase for it! Coming from an apartment with a dinky washer/dryer combo, anything would have been better but this was a great buy, fits perfectly stacked in our space, and dries clothes very well. Definitely recommend!

Easy to use, simple instructions (plug and play!) only call out is that if you’re stacking on top of the matching washing machine, then the controls are hard to see as they’re angled upwards, ie if you’re of short stature, then you can not see the controls

I have had Samsung washers and dryers for years and am very happy with the all including this latest purchase. The Best Buy installation team was great and everything went very well. The capacity of this dryer is huge and can handle anything. I am a happy customer.

Does what its supposed to do. Easy hook up. Pretty effective although the efficacy goes down with time - thats likely because vent needs to be cleaned. The lint filter basket snapped after about 18 months but its still usable though. We never use the steam function, so that was just somewhat of a waste feature for us.

Love this dryer. I dont have water hooked up for the steam. It works great with the matching washer. Washer spins clothes really well and the dryer dries the clothes in a short time. Lots of settings. Has an interior light. Large capacity. No problems so far.

The steam option is useful for getting wrinkles out of clothes that have been sitting in the dryer for awhile and are rumpled. Minimizes the need to iron clothing, but does not eliminate it. I think Samsung has earned respect for quality at a good price.

The dryer compliments the washer really well. I'm not certain I'll use all of the settings that it has, but I suppose it's better to have it and not need it, then to need it and not have it. The discount for purchasing the matching washer was just a bonus.

I don’t use the smart app. Haven’t tried. But I absolutely love my new dryer. It looks great. Caught a great sale for Fourth of July holiday and I love the reputability and ease of use with Samsung products. Also got the extended warranty through Best Buy

As expected, works great, easy to use, lots of options and clothes look and smell great. Only a four star because the $24.00 WiFi smart adapter is now available at any major store and isn’t available for back order. Seems silly to offer a WiFi capable washer and dryer without the major WiFi components readily available. Not sure what my options are.
