Poor Picture Quality-4K UHD programming

Sansung was of no help-they "took over" the set remotely, agreed the the picture was substandard but could not offer any help. Currently using Geek Squad to further assist picture quality issue. Will update review afterr Geek Squad assessment.

Not sure how it gets great reviews

I'm disappointed with the picture on this TV and there is no way I would spend this kind of money if I had any idea of the disappointing picture you get on digital TV. I have called Samsung and they worked with me to reset the TV and made some adjustments to it but it's still doesn't have a clear picture. I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because I love everything about the TV other then the constant out of focus picture. We have 3 other TV's in our home and they don't have any issues with there HD picture like this one does. The manager at the Best Buy where I purchased the TV has been patiently working with me and offered to take it back and get store credit for it or pick some thing else out but we live almost 2 hours away from store and there is nothing easy about returning a TV this big back to the store and I really wanted to figure out what the issue is with this TV but I don't see any miracles coming and I'm running out of time to return it.

I am sorry that you are not completely satisfied with the image clarity of your Q90R TV.
Here are some tips to help improve the sharpness.
1. HDMI cables are recommended for optimal HD viewing.
2. If you have an analog cable box or satellite box, upgrade to a digital cable box or satellite box.
3. Adjust the cable box or satellite box's video output resolution to 1080i.
4. Look for a channel that is broadcasting native HD content. For over the air/cable antenna connection, try these steps to find HD channels:
Go to Menu>Settings> Broadcasting> Auto Program
You can configure the screen settings to your taste. Complete details can be found on page 95-96 of the eManual:

TV Doesn’t Work Already

I’ve had it TWO MONTHS and yesterday it died! I was watching it all day Sunday then went to bed.Woke up Monday morning, went into the living room to turn it on and it will not turn on! I’ve tried new remote batteries, unplugging it for a full 10 minutes, everything suggested on Samsung’s own website and nothing worked. I have a brand new tv that does NOT WORK!!! I’m livid!! And I do NOT blame Best Buy! They were great! I’m blaming Samsung for building garbage and selling it for over 5K!!! I will NEVER EVER buy another Samsung tv! Stick with LG! They are cheaper and the picture is just as good if not better!
