The TV So Good, I Forgot What Outside Looks Like
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently upgraded to the Samsung 77" Class S90C OLED 4K UHD Smart TV, and let me tell you—this TV is a life-changing, mind-blowing, eye-popping portal to a world of pixel perfection. Paired with my Sonos Arc Soundbar, it’s like my living room has been turned into a movie theater, minus the sticky floors and overpriced popcorn. First off, 77 inches of pure OLED magic? Yes, please! The colors are so vivid I’m convinced the TV is conspiring to make everything outside my window look dull by comparison. Watching nature documentaries has me wondering if I accidentally invited a pack of wolves into my house—everything is just that real. The 4K UHD resolution paired with the deep, inky blacks from the OLED display is a thing of beauty. Whether I’m watching an intense action movie or scrolling through menus, everything looks smooth, sharp, and lifelike. There’s zero lag, zero weird shadows, just flawless picture quality. It’s so good, I had to adjust the brightness on my phone afterward because it suddenly looked like it was from the 1990s. Smart Tizen? A breeze to navigate. I’m not exactly a tech wizard, but I had everything set up in no time. And with all the streaming apps ready to go, I now have access to more content than I’ll ever have time to watch. Yet, somehow, I still spend 20 minutes scrolling through Netflix deciding on what to watch. The cherry on top? Pairing this bad boy with my Sonos Arc Soundbar. Now, when those Dolby Atmos soundscapes hit, I’m not just watching a movie—I’m in the movie. The combo is so immersive that I’ve caught myself dodging explosions in action scenes more than once. All in all, the Samsung S90C OLED is hands down the best TV I’ve ever owned. If you want a viewing experience that will spoil you forever and ruin every other screen for you, this is the one.

Best tv under 3000
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best tv I’ve ever owned. Originally purchased tcl Qm8. It was to replace the Hisense u8h. That replaced the Sony a80l. Tried the mini led to get brighter for the room. But ultimately went back to oled for the smaller details. Not as bright but it’s really close. To the point that I can use it with my windows fully open. If you need more brightness then dynamic mode will make it just as bright as many mini led tvs but the colors will be less accurate. What they don’t tell you about mini led is if you pick a more accurate mode than the brightness matches this tv.

Too good for the average user, 10/10 recommend
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wish there wasn't such a price disparity between the 77" & the 83". For the average buyer who doesn't care too much about clear picture quality, deep blacks, and vibrant colors, then this TV is probably too much TV. My father in law is very happy with his 85" samsung that he purchased for under $1,000. For the rest of the market who wants incredible picture quality for sports, HDR when streaming and life-like colors, this TV is incredible. Time after time my wife and I are blown away with the picture quality -- especially in the Netflix series, "Our great national parks." 9/10 recommend - get the bigger version if your budget allows for it.

Best price-to-perfomance for movie nuts
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm coming from a Sony 85" LED that died prematurely. I loved that TV, particularly the size, but the image quality of this one is simply better due to the OLED technology. Even though I downgraded the size, I feel this one replicates a theater screen far better than the last one ever did in terms of colors and contrast. I'm more interested in black levels than brightness, so your mileage may vary, but I'm guessing the brightness is good enough for most. I never used the built-in smart TV features or the built-in speakers so I can't speak to the quality of that stuff, but I suspect anyone else in the market for a TV this large probably already has a good sound system. The image is clean and movies look great on it, period, and that's all I'm interested in. I've done some casual gaming on it too, mostly Gran Turismo 7 and a little bit of Steam Link. Both look fantastic and I didn't notice any additional input lag on the games I've tested on both PC and this TV (but to be transparent: I don't game on TVs much at all, so take my opinion on this subject with a grain of salt). I think this is the TV to get if you love movies and you're not rich. There will certainly be better TVs, but only at much higher price points and probably not THAT much better.

Great TV, some lag in live TV sound
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this TV to replace a 5-year-old Vizio P-Series LED. This is so much better, that I can't even compare the two. Bright, great HDR, deep blacks, and does a good job upscaling 1080P. Sometimes seems to drop frames on live sports, though this doesn't happen often. I run the sound through my home theater setup, and when I select "Auto" vs. "Pass-through" there is a delay between picture and sound that I can't correct in settings. I notice this in live content (news, sports) more than in recorded content.

One of the Best OLEDs on the market
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tv is amazing. Looks great in the dark and in bright rooms. User interface isn’t the best, but you get used to it. Easy fix if you use a streaming device such as Roku or an Apple TV. No Dolby vision, but the picture is fantastic regardless. HDR10+ holds its own and you won’t notice you don’t have it. Can’t really speak to the sound quality because I have it connected to my media center. All in all, a fantastic tv with all the bells and whistles.

S90C is fantastic compared to LG C3 except….
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had the S90C for a couple months and I’ve compared it to LG C3 side by and I honestly like the S90C better most of the time. I can’t tell any differences in Filmaker mode in upscaling or picture quality whatsoever. Both are capable of incredible pictures especially when watching HD or 4K content and although the S90C has QD-OLED panel known for colors I must say most of the time the LG C3 seems to have more vibrant punchier colors. Both have a little blurr in motion no matter how you set the motion clarity settings and you have to have a little soap opera effect to get it to look good enough to be tolerable. The S90C controls screen reflection way better than LG C3 which is more like a mirror with blue tinges/Auras around any light source that reflects off the screen. The S90C is noticeably brighter image than LG C3 in movie scenes which gives a lot of scenes just more impact and draws your attention to the S90C more. I love everything about the S90C except when watching sports especially football. No matter how I adjust the picture clarity settings on the S90C I can’t get it to look smooth it always has this jittery motion blurring I can’t get rid of that’s just very unnatural and annoying . The LG C3 when set on SMOOTH setting isn’t perfect but is definitely better than any motion I can get on the S90C. My friend has an LG C1 and his tv when watching football is set to EXPERT BRIGHT picture mode and CINEMATIC motion setting and has absolutely perfect motion with no artifacts or blurring and is better than my LG C3 and my S90C which makes no sense to me seeing that it’s an older tv with less powerful processor. I’ll probably be returning the S90C for that reason and keeping the LG C3 but I honestly prefer the S90C for everything other than sports. I also have started noticing a pink tint or tinge to the right side of the LG C3 in all movie scenes especially when it’s a white or light background that once you notice you can’t not see it and it’s aggravating. I’ll probably return the S90C if I can’t get the motion figured out but may have to try something else other than LG C3 due to the pink tint and Soap opera effect of the tv. My 10 year old Samsung 4K tv that went out had better motion and honestly looked just about as good as either of these TVs and I’m missing it. The LG was on sale for only $100 more than the S90C when I purchased it and if I had paid the regular price of $2500 for the LG vs the $1900 I paid for the S90C I would have been really upset. It’s not worth more than the S90C in my opinion except for sports motion. Not totally decided what I’m going to do but for the amount of money these TVs cost and the amount of technology that’s packed into them I’m dissatisfied with the motion/Soap Opera in either tv. It’s really annoying.

Samsung S90C OLED TV Review A Transformative Home
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Samsung S90C OLED TV Review A Transformative Home Experience The Samsung S90C did more than upgrade our living room. It transformed it. My wife captured the feeling perfectly. She said that watching television on this screen felt like appreciating the full experience of high-quality sound and visuals made personal. Every scene, every note, every moment became something intimate. That clarity made the investment a must-have for our new home. And today, mounted proudly above our living-room fireplace, it continues to deliver joy and wonder every single evening. What made this purchase even more special was the journey leading to it. At the Best Buy in Southfield, the sales professional didn’t rush us or push us. Instead, they took the time to educate us. They showed us comparison models side by side, explained what we were seeing, and highlighted exactly what to look for in an OLED panel. Then came the moment that sealed it for us: stepping into the special audio-visual suite on site. In that room, the S90C didn’t just look better. It felt better. The colors, the depth, the sound that wrapped around the space—it was a demonstration of what modern home entertainment could truly be. It was, in a word, transformational. Today, we’re still grateful. Grateful for the technology. Grateful for the guidance. And grateful for the way this TV turned simple watching into a shared experience of beauty and immersion. If you want a television that elevates the entire atmosphere of your home, the Samsung S90C is the one.

No regrets
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent television, i made the switch from lg to Samsung and have 0 regret. 77" looks, runs, and plays great. This is nearly identical to the LG C3 series except the specs are mildly better for gamers. Pros: Color, HDR, refresh rate, lag input, sleek and thin. Prioritizes gaming and sports. Cons: heavy, interface isn't intuitive but it's simple. 10/10 great upgrade into the oled market without paying Sony prices!

Samsung S90C
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good. Excellent picture quality and 4k streaming is incredible. Wall mounted unit in our theater room which is somewhat dark. The OLED does a great job with brightness and color spectrum. This S90C makes every movie I watch now in 4k truly an experience. Samsung made setup and attachment of external devices quite seamless. I haven’t tried any gaming yet on unit but with 120+hz refresh rate I’m sure it will be truly excellent.

Our 1st OLED
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's been about 3 weeks since our tv was mounted on the wall and we started watching it. Live streaming tv & movies look absolutely fantastic. Our living room is more on the dark side of the scale so the vibrant contrast & colors on this OLED make everything look incredibly clear and crisp. Even older dvd's look "different" on it than they did on other tv's. I will try to update if something changes

Great TV as advertised
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This OLED tv is every bit as good as some of the reviews that I read prior to buying it. The sound is better than I thought it could be. It is very bright, I have it in a room with a lot of windows and it is not an issue. It handles motion great and the contrast and color is amazing.

Wow what a clear brilliant color
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As soon as I turn, the TV on, I fell in love with it. The picture is crisp, clear and vibrant. The black is actually really nice on it as well. It doesn’t look like a gray or washed out color. I’m very happy with the TV overall and very glad that I ended up getting it. It is super thin which is crazy.

S90c 77 inch
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best tv I've ever owned by a far coming from a 2020 Qled top of the line model q90t. The S90c is lightyears better, colors will blow you away if you you are coming from led like i did. And the black levels.......... don't even get me started perfect blacks. I still have my Qled so trust me when i say i have done a real side by side and the S90c is far superior in almost every way except brightness. Gaming mode is also really good something that never really worked well on my Qled. Also for you people that dont know the S90c 77" has the same exact panel as the top of the line S95c so if you dont need the one connect box do yourself a favor and save some money with the S90c 77".

Worth every penny!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from a LG OLED, which was great for a long time, but it pales in comparison to the S90c. The S90c has an amazing color gamut. Samsung’s OLED is hands down the best. However, the User Interface seems to be written by someone who has never used a TV. This also seems to be the case with whoever designed the remote as well. The UI on the LG is far more pleasing and the remote is much easier to use. But, the difference is picture quality is enough to put up with it.

Impressive Picture Quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am very impressed with the picture quality of the Samsung S90C OLED TV. The TV is being used in our basement and we watch movies and play video games. The picture colors and crispness allow us to enjoy movies as if we were at a movie theater. Since the tv is in the basement, there is no glare on the screen.

Game changing OLED
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best Buy Delivery and haul away service was top notch and on time. The OLED is incredible the picture quality is in unbeatable for the price and size, The Samsung UI is very Amazon Fire like when it comes to the interface and can be a bit slow at times but I imagine some firmware updates will optimize over time hopefully. I am coming from an older LG OLED E6 series and the brightness of the Samsung is stunning in combination with the infinite black contrast. The multiple HDMI 2.1 inputs have now given me access to 4k 120fps from my PC, and my consoles it’s a game changer.
