The best all around. Picture quality crisp. Sound is clear with 4.1 surround. Mounting is easy and ready. Upscale shop 1080 to 4K works great.

I had heard good things about this tv. It did not disappoint. The only bad thing (which is not really bad) is it does not support DolbyVision, but considering that nothing on the market can take full advantage of this technology yet anyway, it is a small issue. It has an unbelievably good picture. Highly recommended.

Replaced under warranty a Q60 82 inch TV with the Q80 82 inch. Even though the TV is huge the picture is crystal clear even up close. Sound quality is good, but you do have to turn it up into the 40's range at times. I'm not crazy about Samsung's new remote with very few buttons and no direct Channel input. The TV was mounted on the wall by The Geek Squad. Overall happy with the my purchase.

One of my best purchases this year for many reasons. First, 82" is the perfect size for a huge room. Second, the brightness is more than enough to overpower sunlight when I want shutters open. Third, the viewing angle is phenominal. Fourth, the picture quality is excellent and I think is at par with the Sony 950g.

The Samsung 82" Q80 series is absolutely stunning in our home. We had it hung on our wall in our game room and thoroughly love the picture and the features it has included. We are really excited now that football season is here so we can enjoy the game better than being there!

Overall a very good TV with crisp picture and ease of use.

I install home theater equipment for a living. A few years ago, I purchased 2 brand new Sony 4k tvs. Unfortunately, the picture quality was ok at best. I also didn't realize until after I purchased them that they did not support Apple TV. Fast forward to now after purchasing my Samsung 82" Q80, I now want to give my Sony 65" and 60" TV's away. The Samsung is sharp, vivid, vibrant and almost 3 dimensional in comparison to the Sony or anything else. I'll never purchase or recommend anything else to my clients but a Samsung television!

This tv is awesome. And the price was great. Picked this up on sale and saved a lot. When I turned it on it was like being in the movie. Football games are amazing. I was debating on this or the Sony 950 and went with this for the sale price. Was very happy with it and now wanting another one for my bedroom.

Bought this tv a month ago , best buy did the set up very simple they were in and out within less than an hour . All my components were hooked up including my surround sound. Picture sharpness and color are mind blowing. Excellent , excellent quality and Samsung has the best service by far.

This 82" QLED Samsung tv is just simply awesome. The picture is jaw dropping and the size is amazing. The stereo sound is great and the features are really great. Overall, a great product.

This TV is incredible! The blacks are inky and dark. The brights are extremely bright. The menus are snappy. The remote is a little over simplified, but can be used to control most devices. When watching 4K blue rays, the picture is incredible. Zero dirty screen effect. No issues so far.

Excellent picture quality - very good off axis viewing. Like everything about it except for one thing; it will not automatically start the A/V reciever when the TV powers on. Have searched for a resolution and apparently this is a well known issue with Samsung TV's.
