I haven’t noticed performance improvement of this 870 model over a model 860 1TB drive. In fact seeing some things run slower. Will need to investigate further.

There are no screws or mounting equipment with it, so you may have to get that separately if you don’t already have it.

Also, please know that these drives are not delivered with mounting screws since motherboard manufacturers typically provide the specific screws and spacers that fit the proprietary needs of each motherboard.

Its not as fast as an M.2 nvme drive but its good enough for my needs. I was playing off of a HDD and switching over to this more then halved my loading times.
