I purchased this SSD to replace the HDD on my 4 year old laptop. I am not a computer wizard in any way shape or form and I cannot speak about the specs from the HDD to the SSD. I can speak about how my laptop was awakened after the upgrade. Before, the laptop would lag so bad that sometimes it would take up to 10 minutes to load. Web pages would take forever to load and something as simple as going through my email would take so long that I just about gave up on my laptop. A friend of mine from work who is a computer genius suggested I replace the HDD and wow! What a difference. Turn on times are fast. Load up times are fast. Web browsing is fast. If you are thinking about replacing your HDD with an SSD, do it. It will give new life to your laptop.

The Samsung 1Tb SSD works perfectly with my Mac Pro. It was easy to install and setup.

The Samsung 870 EVO 1TB internal SSD SATA has been amazing since installed by Geek Squad. My ASUS vivobook laptop with the original 1TB HDD acted like it was on dial-up and would just load for 5 to 10 minutes before loading the page. Since this SSD has been installed on my laptop, I'm able to use my laptop for school and zoom classes. The speed is exception that this SSD puts out. I highly recommend anyone wanting a faster laptop to switch to this one and remove the original HDD.

Worked as expected, no ugly surprises. Transferred the C drive, amazing improvement to startup and app load times.

Purchased this drive to upgrade my system's performance and it exceeded my expectations. Totally made my system very fast. Everything opens and closes fast. Boots up and shuts down in seconds not minutes. I totally recommend it!!

Picked this up on sale. Got it to put in my Xbox one x and it works great. Really helped with speeding up my load times vs. the original Hdd.

I bought the Samsung drive in order to clone the 256 GB SSD that my system originally came with... purchase included the ability to download software to clone the drive... it turned out my original drive was an M.2 form factor so I ended up buying a 1 TB Samsung M.2 drive and used this as a temporary to clone the original M.2 drive and then as the source to clone onto the new M.2 drive... I then cloned a 500 GB SATA drive in a 12 year old Sony laptop onto this SSD using a Sabrent external and the Sony laptop is usable once again.

Great product. Easy installation. Have couple of these in mybother machines and tgey are all still performing well.

Great way to extend the life of your computer. The solid-state drive is unbelievably fast. Absolutely no noise.

This SDD was easy to install and was a great price. It does not include the tiny screws needed to mount it to the case, though.

Affordable and fast read/write speed. Installed easy and I'm grateful now that my storage won't be damaged if my laptop is bumped. Very happy with it.

Works great- no issues at all. Installed in a PlayStation 4. Games seem to load and run better now. Doesn’t seem to get as hot either

The hard drive in my laptop was failing. The Geek squad recommended this side state drive. The transfer of my data to the new drive and its subsequent installation by the techs was quick and my laptop now runs fast, cool and quiet.

Great internal Drive. Has been very fast and efficient for gaming purposes. No issues so far.
