Other than that it is perfect.

Excellent bang for the buck

Samsung came out on top. The drive gave the laptop new life, and now runs faster than when it was new. (Replaced a slow 5400rpm drive) If you choose to upgrade an older computer, be sure to also check what memory is installed, and if minamal, also upgrade that as well. You'll be amazed at the difference the upgrades make!

This is working well as the boot disk on an older computer (no m.2). The installation and operation has been flawless and it is quick, much better boot times.

Was able to quickly backup the old drive and transfer to this new one. The speed is much improved and have revitalized an older laptop for continued use.

Used the downloaded Samsung software. Had to initiate the drive first, did not see that in the instructions. Tried to clone "C" & "D' at first, got errors indicating it could not complete. Tried 2 different SATA cables. Finally on the 4th attempt it completed with a message saving settings and the software shutdown as was expected. Finally swapped out the SSD with the original HDD and it booted up in 23 seconds, far faster than over 4 minutes on the HDD.

It was surprisingly easy to install on my PC. I had never installed any hardware on my computer before so this is definitely a beginner friendly operation. I mainly use my computer for data analytics now and so far this drive has been great for processing fairly large amounts of data quickly. Never overheats and hasn't slowed down in the 2 years that I've had it.

I got an appointment with the Geek Squad at the Best Buy in Paramus, NJ. When I returned to pick it up, the agent told me that my hard drive was totally used up. He suggested replacing my old hard drive with a larger hard drive. Upon reconnected it at home, the change was amazing. It just zipped along. Thank you Geek Squad
