Bought this to replace my broken 4TB HDD, which died literally three months after buying it. If you’re on the fence about this vs a higher capacity HDD, choose this. It may only be a fourth of the size, but it’s faster and quieter than the hard drive I’d had, which was a WD Black. I currently use this Ssd to play a 250GB modded game, which loads up verrry quickly now. If i could go back, I would’ve waited for a sale before buying, because SSDs are expensive and this lil thing is no exception.

Works great, does what it says it’s going to do and sped my mid-2012 MacBook Pro way up. After cloning the drive install was easy as well.

installed this into an older laptop to replace a slowly-dying HDD drive, and the improvement is stark. It reads and writes a good deal faster, and has really fixed the issues the old laptop was having that an additional stick of RAM was just not enough to make up for. I trust Samsung as a company for drives, so I have high hopes that this will be a stable long-term improvement.

When we recently took our all-in-one computer in to Geek Squad to help speed it up, this SSD was recommended to replace what came in the computer originally. Our computer is definitely faster and works much better now. Other than that, I don't know much about these things, so I can't say whether it's better than another type/brand or not. It improved our computer's performance, so that's all that mattered to us.

Added this to my Dell PC, made a huge difference at what I could store with my photographs. So glad this was so easy to install. Awesome Product !!

Always great adding a Samsung SSD to a laptop with minimum drive space. Easy to install and works perfectly.

Best investment for my laptop so far. It replaced the stock spinning hard drive and is way faster with bootups and can run many more apps at the same time with no lag. The Samsung website gives easy to follow instructions on how to copy your old hard drive onto this one. It is not a quick process, so dont be in a hurry. It took about 3hr45min using an external hard drive housing kit and USB 2.0 connection.

Nice little drive. Easy to install. May need a separate adapter to mount it in your hard drive bay.

Samsung fanboy here! TV's, phones, hard drives . . . can't go wrong with this brand! I remember the days when a 100MB hard drive was incredible. Now we've got SSD, NVME and I have terabytes of Samsung drives all over.

Very good drive that works flawlessly, and runs very cool. So far had no issues with the drive, and the speed is plenty fast for the things that I use it for.

I purchased this because my laptop had a 256 gb SSD and a 1 TB HDD. I had a 1TB SSD from an old laptop and when I took it in to have it swapped out it turned out to be no good. So I purchased this Samsung 1TB SSD drive to replace my 1 TB HDD in my laptop. I have Best Buy Total Tech because of a large T.V. we have so I used it to have them install this drive. This drive loads things a lot faster than my former HDD. I am very happy with this drive. I gave the value as excellent because when I purchased this drive I believe it was on sale for $70.00 off.

Great value upgrade for an older laptop! I bought this for a client, who had an old, failing 1tb hard drive. I think they were about ready to write off the laptop as a total loss. This SSD breathed life back in to their older, mid-range laptop! If you're considering upgrading from an old, spinning harddrive to an SSD -- do it! Just be sure to keep a backup of your old data, and/or have a friend or Geek Squad clone your data over!
