After days of frustration with trying to get the cloning software (Acronis, Macrium Reflect) for the other major brand to migrate my data to their SSD I gave up. The Samsung Migration software worked flawlessly. I had cleaned up the source hard drive with chkdsk /r and sfc scannow before the transfer. I bought two 870 EVOs and now am buying two more. HP Pavilion DV7 4285

My computer now functions better and faster than when I first bought it.

Had an older laptop that had sectors on an old spindle HD going out little by little. Bought this Samsung SSD and replaced old drive with this. Reinstalled windows and this laptop is now as good as some of the newer ones, super fast and responsive.
