I've been using this drive for a good while now and I have t had any problems at all. It's fast and works well.

Nice product it's excellent for what I need to do good storage space

My computer was dog-slow. Took it in to Geek Squad and the hard drive failed their diagnostic test. This replacement drive is super fast and exceeded my expectations!

The Samsung Solid State Drive operates very, very well. The cloning software provided by Samsung works flawlessly when cloning a 2TB (or less) drive as the master boot drive and larger drives as NTFS non-boot drive. I strongly recommend downloading the Samsung Magician software and running the "Performance Optimization" for full performance mode to dramatically improve drive performance (read/write speeds) above specifications.

Works good easy installation and very cheap for what you get

This Samsung solid state drive was easy to install. Now my HP laptop works so much faster. I couldn't be any happier!!

I had an empty spot for a hard drive so I purchased this. Samsung is a VERY dependable name. All my TV's are Samsung. the Geek Squad installed it within 30 minutes.

This hard drive is very good quality and very quiet when running.

Great drive and transfer software. This really gives you an all in one package to clone your drive, remove the old one, and put this new faster hard drive in. I know it's not as fast as an NVME drive which at the time of this post is the newest/fastest standard, but this one gets the job done if you are just doing web browsing, watching videos online, or some light video gaming. Boots up fast and is snappy!

Small and powerful, this replaced a failing mechanical drive, speeding up the old laptop quite nicely. This is the second or third one of these I've bought to upgrade my assorted laptops, and I'll continue buying it; I am extremely happy with it.

I've installed more than 6 of these in various computers at home and at work, and the install is straightforward (cloning and replacing a hard drive), and the result is...yes...MUCH faster computer performance. You'll ask yourself...why didn't I do this long ago! You'll get 'new' computer performance without having to buy a new computer and all the software hassle that comes with that.

Installed easily. The samsung migration tool worked great and moved all my files off of my old mechanical HDD to this one. It was a little difficult to figure out how to get it to boot. What I ended up having to do was removing the SATA cable from the back of my old HDD and also the power from the old HDD. Connect that SATA cable to your new HDD and you'll boot to it. Things are much more snappy.

Bought this to upgrade my mechanical hdd. I downloaded magician and the other software to clone drive into ssd One thing it would be nice to know is, when doing this.... the magician software makes you believe it's a counterfeit drive. However, talking with support, they told me windows 10 will not give you accurate information for the drive, connected via usb. Once i cloned drive and installed it worked amazing.
