Great replacement drive for my Windows 10 SATA Boot-up 500GB mechanical drive. My 8 year old Alienware PC is revitalized. The Samsung Tools (Samsung Magician & Data Migration) are required to download for optimum performance.

My representative at The Geek Squad told me that this hard drive is twice as fast as the original hard drive that I got replaced, and it it working great. It's like having a new computer.

Was the smallest size they had. It's a nice drive for installing an operating system on inside a server. SSDs are quiet and use very little energy.

The purchase was easy, at a good price and item functioned as promised. Computer runs better and faster than when it was new.

I have an HP Envy i5 laptop I bought in 2014. It was screeching to a halt. I put this in following the directions on the Samsung apps and it is working great. Cold boot up in 8 seconds, Definitely worth the $150 for the drive and cord to do it . Can put off purchase of a new laptop for a bit.

I've upgraded old laptop hard drives to ssds 6 times now, and I have always picked these Samsung drives. They work so well, and, especially if you can get them on sale, are a bang for your buck!

Holds up pretty well, pretty good storage for the price. Especially when on sale.

Had issues with my computer taking so long to load. Best Buy Geek Squad Representative recommend getting a SSD Drive and I brought this item and it definitely what my computer tower needed. Don't have anymore load times issues.

Great SSD EVO Memory Card. Works per all the specs listed. Stores LOTS of Data including Music, Videos, regular Files, etc. Would have preferred it to be bit cheaper.

I used this 1T Samsung SSD to upgrade my Dell Notebook main Hard drive. I used the Samsung transfer software to move everything to the larger drive. The transfer took about an hour to complete. It took 15 minutes to physical the ssd into my Dell Notebook. Everything worked well.

Bought it to replace my hdd with Windows. It clearly makes the boot time faster!! Also, there’s a samsung program that can do it within a few click, very nice!

Great upgrade for older devices without NVME and a good games drive for desktops. Have been recommending and using these ever since the 840. Be sure to use the software to turn on RAPID mode.

Needed a SSD for starfield and a bunch of other games, this one has my games loading pretty quick, so quick I can't see the loading screen.

samsung -870 evo 1TB internal ssd sata solid state drive is excellent and easy intruction if you go to youtube will so you how to install it but the one thing you have to buy is a cablewire for the drive because the unit is not came with it
