Very simple to install, havent had any issues so far yet. Would definitely recommend to anyone trying to upgrade their sata hard drove and switch it over to an ssd.

We use this as storage for our photos and other memories that need to be stored.

The product itself is fairly priced and reliable. But what makes it my drive of choice is Samsung's proprietary software for transferring and cloning drives. Said software doesn't come with the product but is free on their website.

External hard drives are awesome. Is more superior than buying a HDD which may have more storage, but the speeds will sacrifice when moving from HDD to SSDSSD will move fast to H DD But it’s best to have an SSD with SSD

While this can be a bit bulky compared to an M.2 drive, it is a bit cheaper. I bought mine after my old hard drive started failing and I've been pretty happy with it so far. Great if you need a bit of storage but not a massive amount.

Love BestBuy, Shop at Best Buy first before I go somewhere else to find their products including computers and kitchen appliances.

Internal storage works with no issues for my laptop Laptop runs faster now there is more storage space. No issues and worth it vs spending $500 to replace laptop.

I was looking for a fast, affordable SSD for my sons computer. The Samsung i bought at Best Buy was a breeze to install and improved load times on all of his games and booting the computer? seconds instead of a minute and a half. If you can install a SSD in your pc, do it.

I bought one of these for my 7-year-old laptop pc to replace its original HDD. Cloning, installation and startup went without a hitch and the speed increase was remarkable. I thought I take a chance on a second one and was pleasantly surprised. I have an old desktop pc running Vista that I use only occasionally. It had a 15-year-old HDD, no ability to upgrade the OS and no good way to fully back it up. I didn't expect the Samsung migration software to run, since it listed Win 7 as a minimum requirement, but it installed and ran just fine and this swap-out also went flawlessly. I have one more machine to upgrade and will be back for another Samsung 870 EVO Internal SSD soon.

Wow what an upgrade. I had an old Dell Optiplex 3020 desktop with an internal SATA drive which was making a weird clicking noise. Purchased this Samsung SSD and installed Win 10 using the Dell CD. What a difference on boot and loading applications. I am very happy with this drive.

It has allowed our computer to run better. It has now been running to it's full power.

Great upgrade- made a fast computer even faster! Samsung is the industry standard in SSD's, and the 870 series rocks...Quad Core i7 @ 3.7GHZ- 16GB Ram- and swapping from a WD BLUE 1TB to a Samsung Evo 870 1TB SSD was an excellent upgrade....Super fast boot- everything snappier- will get another 5 years out of this machine!

My 512gb drive was filling up rapidly. I had Geek Squad replace with a 1tb SSD and find it to run faster and quieter. The performance has me seriously considering replacing a secondary drive on the same computer.

I have several of these SSD's. All work flawlessly. The read/write speed specs are excellent. Some I've had for several years and have not encountered any problems. The software that comes with it - SamSung Magician is also very helpful for monitoring drive status.

I bought the EVO drive about two weeks ago. It is wonderful to not be worried about running out of space. It is fast. retrieving even large (gigbit) files quickly.
