Purchased this to upgrade my laptop from a 1TB disk drive and it's so much better to boot and run programs now. At first I had a problem with the SSD not being recognized with a SATA cable and an SSD enclosure so I had to run to the nearest BestBuy and have a Geek Squad rep format the SSD so that it can be detected by any computer. It was a good thing I didn't order this from Amazon because they don't have any Geek Squad service at all. I recommend this Samsung SSD to anyone and to purchase it from BestBuy.

I purchased this because of the Read/Write speed for my Video Recorder. My previous internal hdd was a crucial and not fast enough for the video recorder and would cause the recorder to RedScreen. This Samsung is powerful and I have never had any issues with this device. I will definitely purchase another one of these or one that has a faster read/write speed. This is a very reliable piece of gear and I highly recommend it.

My thing with samsung, my advice for any people looking for the comfort of the name brand is such. Samsungs quality is best represented in their second and third generations. This is a general rule for myself, but as with any rule it isnt always accurate. The drive works fantastic, great to speed up an old system or just toss some quick storage into a new system.
