    As you would expect from Samsung, it is speedy and reliable and provides the extra storage I need. I highly recommend this drive to anyone looking for more SSD space if they don't have any NVME slots available.

    I've never had one of these Samsung SSDs (500GB, 1TB, 2TB) fail on me. They are SATA, so of course not the fastest speeds. On the other hand, I mainly use them for mass storage and games, so that's not a critical lack. A 1TB Samsung SSD also did fine as a boot drive, back before I had a motherboard with a M.2 slot.

    This is a great alternative to traditional HDD. I got this to replace a WD drive that was really noisy when reading and writing. In my setup I have a SSD for Boot and this for storage of large files along with OneDrive.

    A pricey option to gain faster speed and more storage space. Just started using and had success copying old drive to this with Samsung software. Little confusing determining correct installer to download. It’s working and has sped up my computer

    If you looking for a SSD that will give lots of storage space, then look no further. If your looking for speed, then a NVMe is what you want. For storage, these SSD's give you the best bang for your buck.

    Exchanged my QVO model for this EVO at the same price, and this is much more worth it for me. The QVO is fine for small to medium file sizes, but I usually deal with files sizes north of 80GB, at which is QVO slows down to HDD speeds. This EVO keeps up with my high data ingestion of video footage perfectly fine, and keeps speeds multiple times higher than what an HDD would.
