Purchased a few of these drives for my custom build over the years and never a flaw. If you’ve never experienced the old platter drives maybe you won’t fully appreciate this technology but us old schoolers do for sure. Best Buy has always been good with supply and service as well.

I needed to replace my Western Digital hard drive in my Windows 10 PC as it's 12 years old and getting a little slow on "Boot-up". On a side note, 12 years for a hard drive with no error's is a testament to the quality of Western Digital hard drives! Louis, one of the smartest technicians I've ever talked to over at my local Best Buy recommended the Samsung - 870 EVO 2TB Internal SSD as it has great transfer speeds and reliability, he was right! The old HD boot-up time was just around a minute in a half and now my P.C. has an average of 28sec.'s to the desktop! WOW! Now all my programs load super-fast and I couldn't be happier! If you have a standard hard drive and want a performance boost without breaking the bank, I highly recommend this Samsung - 870 EVO 2TB Internal SSD. It's fast, reliable and a good value!

I don't really know when or if it breaks but so far it has not and I am glad. Gives me a lot of space for games and have not been. Needed to delete anything.

Upgrading the memory and mass storage on a computer is the cheap way to get a better pc. These solid state drives give more storage with a faster recall than mechanical drives. It’s like getting a new machine at a fraction of the cost. From long experience, I have found that Samsung components give great performance with long service lives - at a fair price. I highly recommend them.

When my old 1TB drive fried, I was sad but decided to start dating again. But this time, I needed an SSD with more depth, and one that I could live with for a long time. Very, very simple: open the box, plug it in, and it is recognized. Give it as a location for my OneDrive, and I am just fine. Works great.

This thing works great with the perfect amount of storage I was able to put Velcro strips on it to put it in my computer and it runs great!

From 500 Gigabytes to 2000! Not lacking storage anymore with this 2 Terabyte Drive! Video games can take up your whole computer in no time these days. I know nothing about computers but after a few minutes online I figured it was easy enough to install a second one. It's installed and working fine. Boosted my fps by 3 for some reason lol.

Hard drive on my laptop was starting to fragment so I went and got this to replace it. Quick and easy install, runs super fast and was reasonably priced. Absolutely fantastic

Very reliable and fast SSD. Using it as the boot drive for a PC that is used for heavy software. The PC starts up quickly and load time of programs is reduced significantly. Most decent SSDs will do the same thing but it is hard to beat the reliability that Samsung offers.

Nice drive at a great price! I bought this drive to place in a Andycine Lunchbox for use with my Atomos Ninja monitor, works perfect, highly recommended.

I’ve bought several Samsung SSDs over the years and they have all been reliable in operation and easy to install. For a data storage application this SATA drive is fast enough.

The hard drive was great at storing data, supplying it back and fitting in the space on the old laptop I refurbished with it. It allowed me to save a laptop from the landfill.

I’ve been using this Samsung SSD for about two months now, and the performance boost is incredible. Boot times on my system dropped from nearly a minute to under 15 seconds, and loading large files and applications feels instant. Installation was simple—even for someone who’s not super tech-savvy—and Samsung’s data migration software made cloning my old drive seamless. It's also silent and doesn’t heat up much, even during intense use. I use it daily for work and gaming, and it hasn’t skipped a beat. This drive completely revived my aging laptop. This SSD is reliable and is working well in my servers. It's better to buy from Best Buy because sometimes Amazon packages come with different items that do not patch the packaging (probably replaced when previously returned).

I have had this for..... 1 year and like 4 months now. I've been using it since I got it and it works like a charm. I was able to set it up with zero issue or need for anything, which is always nice. It easily is just plug, format, partition, play. I love the extra storage and the price was fantastic for 2TB. I HIGHLY suggest this model.
