great ssd to use as your boot drive, recently installed one into my brother's pc due to the fact that mine has benefited me greatly, fast boot up, fast game load times, fast everything!

I bought this for a ps4 slim. It was very easy to put in and configure it for the system. It has worked perfectly since we have put it in. I am always happy with samsung.

Love our newest installment of hard drive on our computer. It is so much faster and with a ton of space for videos and pictures.

install wasn't a problem and everything seems to be working properly.

I picked two of these for my Atomos Ninja recorders. So far they’ve been solid at recording 4k 10bit 422 C-log saves as ProRes HQ.

Good SSD, works as expected. It is decently fast, and the software works good as well.

Plenty of space on the drive for all my big games that I can’t fit on my m.2 drive. It’s a good backup drive for extra stuff.

By far one of the best SATA SSDs I've used. I would get this over the QVO model since I've heard the QVO has volatility issues with memory.

Just like my 850 and 860 EVO drives before, this 870 is a fast reliable well-made ssd that serves all my needs well.

Will need update on longevity. Fine on startup, but will need time for any real data about performance over time.

I don't know why I did not do this sooner thanks best by thanks to the Geek Squad for all there help in getting me back on track.

This Solid State Drive is super efficinent, has instant load up speeds and lots of space. I use it for storing all my recordings from gameplay with friends. When I use it in Sony Vegas to edit the clips, they never give me any issues with loading them into the project or issues with rendering it into the folder. The drive can be also used for games, i really only put my single player games on there, i’d recommend using M.2 for multiplayer but still can be used for it

Speeds up the machine each time I boot up. What else can I say.

Works as advertised a little pricey. Replaced a 6 year old cheap SSD that was slowly failing. Comes with Samsung software but didn't really need it. Windows 10 installed and the PC boots from power off to desktop in 22 seconds.

The Samsung 970 Evo SSD was a solid replacement for my aging internal HDD. The hard drive was showing a history of errors and bad sectors, so I replaced it with this beauty. If you are replacing a Windows boot drive, the Samsung Magician software you can download makes the job easy. If you don't have an extra SATA port, you'll need a proper SATA to USB adapter. This SSD does everything it's supposed to, I definitely recommend it!

What an amazing difference in performance. Samsung Magician software made cloning my PC very easy.

Very stable. I have about 5 of these. Tried using another brand once a deeply regretted it. Would like to see more higher capacities in the future
