Just like my 850 and 860 EVO drives before, this 870 is a fast reliable well-made ssd that serves all my needs well.

This Solid State Drive is super efficinent, has instant load up speeds and lots of space. I use it for storing all my recordings from gameplay with friends. When I use it in Sony Vegas to edit the clips, they never give me any issues with loading them into the project or issues with rendering it into the folder. The drive can be also used for games, i really only put my single player games on there, i’d recommend using M.2 for multiplayer but still can be used for it

Works as advertised a little pricey. Replaced a 6 year old cheap SSD that was slowly failing. Comes with Samsung software but didn't really need it. Windows 10 installed and the PC boots from power off to desktop in 22 seconds.

The Samsung 970 Evo SSD was a solid replacement for my aging internal HDD. The hard drive was showing a history of errors and bad sectors, so I replaced it with this beauty. If you are replacing a Windows boot drive, the Samsung Magician software you can download makes the job easy. If you don't have an extra SATA port, you'll need a proper SATA to USB adapter. This SSD does everything it's supposed to, I definitely recommend it!

Needed this item to transfer some data from one computer to a new one which it did nicely. It isnt bulky or weighted, and has a slim design.

Installed in my PS4 Pro and it's working really well. Actual storage size after install with Sony Playstation Firmware is about 1.77TB which is suficient for me.

Purchased to upgrade my PS4 Pro. Works perfectly! Just wish I would of went with the more TB's instead.

As long ad you have a sata drive, this is the one to go with. Improved my 10+year old laptop boot from 10+ minutes to 20 seconds!

A bit on the pricey side for only 2tb of storage but overall its a great product with wonderful playback speed for gaming or just storing files and apps
