Slow when i Download stuff to this drive . My nvmb is faster when i download

If you haven't done so already, you may want to use Samsung Magician to run Performance Optimization, ensure that your motherboard supports SATA III interface, check that all performance related settings are set correctly (cached enabled, AHCI enabled), and be sure you have the latest version of the driver.

It does not give a read and write speed like it advertised. It is slow drive. Wont buy it again

I love that once I loaded my bios onto it from my original HDD it immediately sped the computer up. So far it seems to be a non-negotiable upgrade for me.

Failed after a year and a half of use, is now a brick.

The employee I was talking with, roped me into buying this SSD when I wanted an nvme style SSD, which the motherboard in the PC I built a few years ago, has a slot for.

Won't Boot after a Clone job.

Could not Clone my new Samsung 2TB Hard drive using Samsung Magician or NTI using Win-7 or Win-10 desktop computer's to this new 2TB SSD. Also tried Acronis. Now none of my computers will even recognize the new SSD Samsung drive. It will not boot up either. This is the 2nd Samsung SSD that would not boot up after cloning. Three other Samsung SSD's worked fine for Win-Vista and Win-7 and Win-10. I will be returning this one to Best buy.

After almost two years it stopped working and my laptop ro s not boot up and even I removed from my laptop and connected to another laptop but my laptop does not recognize it.
I lost a lot of important data.

A great storage drive for a fantastic price. Plenty fast for a storage drive, Easy to install and hook up. Samsung's SSD software is easy to understand and use. I ran a performance test on the drive and it had numbers that matched the published specs almost exactly. I would definitely recommend this SSD for a multiple of uses.

Samsung is the best drive around.

I have purchased other Samsung drives with zero issues. That is why I continue to purchase Samsung products, they can be trusted to last a long time. I just had a 1 TB Western Digital SSD die on me after 3 years it was still under warranty but the issues is if you cannot access it then you cannot erase it either, so I had to bite the bullet and not return it for a replacement. Very angry and lost all my data. And I was just using it as a backup drive, so it was not like I was gaming with it.

Extremely easy to setup. Totally changed my PC to an amazing machine again. Worth every scent and i didnt need to install a single app. Very pleased with the pickup secure so nobody can pick up the purchase but me.
