I will admit that I didn't do much research on washer/dryer sets before walking into BestBuy to make a purchase. My dryer was going out and it was an older model I bought off craigslist for $50. I had intentions of only upgrading my dryer and trying to find a cheap ($400 or less) model that was either on sale or discontinued, which is how I found THIS dryer and the matching washing machine. It was reduced to such a good deal I went head and got the set, even though it was well over my budget. I'm building a home right now so I'm really glad I'll have this set to move with, as well. As far as functionality, this thing is HUGE!! I am used to having to run 6 loads a week in our washing machine, and running our dryer twice for every load (it was such a crapper dryer) just to keep up with my boyfriend & 2 dogs. Our older model was so small compared to this. We washed all of our clothes in 2 loads! I managed to fit ALL of our towels into one load, and then washed a queen size comforter with sheets and pillow cases in one load. Crazy to finish every pieces of laundry in our house + linens + towels in about 4.5 hours. Clothes dry within one cycle and the ONLY issue I've had is with the wrinkle release function... I need to just read up on the correct way to do it because my clothes were damp from the steam but I'm certain I just need to read the manual to figure out how to make it work correctly. My only issue with the matching washing machine has been it becoming unbalanced so I had to reorganize the contents but then it was fine. This will just take some getting used to so that I'm using the machines correctly. Overall, these thing are QUIET!!!! Both running together is quieter than our dishwasher & you can hold a normal conversation in the laundry room while they're both running... we barely even hear it when only one is running. I have to say that upgrading from a 10+ year old washing machine probably makes it much easier to give this a high rating. I don't know how this compares to other newer models but I can say that these machines are super easy to use, get clothes CLEAN & they dry quickly. Would I have paid $14999 a piece for them? No, I did not plan or want to invest in that much for a washing machine & dryer. Was it worth $749/each open-box floor model? Um, yes. Yes they were worth every penny!

Samsung keeps messing around yankin my chain over 14 months still broke$4600.00 I paid for tv, washer and dryer...warning do not buy samsung!!!

So I purchased both the washer and dryer and I am truly loving my purchase! I can get a lot more done because the capacity is so large. The dryer is quick and easy to operate. I would only recommend that the unit be installed by a professional due to the steam components. Overall I feel its a great buy!!!

I bought this dryer along with the large capacity washer. I have to say that this dryer has worked perfectly since we had it delivered a little over a month ago. The dryer has about every feature one could imagine. One of the most simple and easy features, that was one of the best ideas i have ever seen in a dryer, was the rack that fits inside the dryer. This allows you to place shoes or anything else on it while the dryer tumbles and the items on the rack do not. I have dried a king sized bed spread and it worked great. i would recommend this dryer to anyone in the market for a large capacity dryer with a ton of features.

As I stated in my review of the washer, I had to remove two door frames to get this into my laundry room because I do not have 30" doors. I have to admit, the extra work was well worth it. We are a family of 5 and do a lot of laundry. This dryer very efficient and has no problem with our queen size comforter. We have yet to use the steam option, but everything else has been great. It is also very quiet, so that's another little bonus. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who does a lot of laundry.

This dryer is the quietest dryer I have ever used. It will hold a lot of towels and dries them in under 1 hour. Love it!

Pros: It is able to dry a lot of clothes quickly and efficiently. I like all of the cycles for the dryer. We got a great price on it and it is far better than our other dryer that it replaced. Con: The end of cycle chime is a little annoying, but we have turned it off. Also, sometimes if it is a large load and we have it on the Eco-Warm cycle I need to make sure it goes to extra dry to make sure everything is completely dry.

Purchased about a month ago. I am enjoying the dryer so far. No problems to share. It has a large capacity which allows me to dry my comforters and bedding. The noise level is quiet and the dryer offers a variety of settings. The pricing is a little on the high end but I wanted the large capacity and the dryer offers just that. So, I am please with my purchase.

Bought this dryer as an open box and was amazed at the capacity. It was to replace a 10 year old dryer that had worn out. I ended up buying the matching washing machine because we'd have to wash 2 loads to fill up the dryer and use it efficiently. It does an amazing job. I couldn't be happier with this product.

We love the Washer and matching Dryer. They have amazing capacity. I actually did 23 Tshirts and pullovers in one load without overloading them! More settings than you could think of yourself and fabulous features. Love them and they are quiet and handsome to look at!

Awesome dryer, a bit larger than a normal dryer so make sure you have room for it and the matching washer! Very quiet, little vibration, with exceptional performance. The only negative is the bright shiny top that scratches very easily, we've covered the top with an old towel, which seems to be working, other than that it's an awesome dryer.

This dryer is unbelievable!!! You can basically fit 4 loads in here at once!!! High efficiency dryer and detects how dry your clothes are while in the dryer!

I love this thing. Super quite and it's huge. Love Samsung products bought all new appliances this year and have yet to be anything but impressed.

Seriously. I can throw 2 complete sets of sheets in there and it done. I love the sensor dry too! Takes all the guess work out!

Quiet dryer that does its job perfectly. Love the steam option for my slacks in the morning. Never have to iron again.

Now I spend less time at the dryer and can dry 2 loads at a time. Drying sensor is awesome and doesn't allow clothes to overdry.

Large capacity and a lot of different settings is what makes this dryer worth getting. I was considering getting the top of the line Samsung front loader set for the same price but with this set you don't need to spend the extra money to get the pedestals so I went with these. We are happy with them they do what they are suppose to and you have a lot of options.
