I bought this Samsung due to their reputation for reliability... but it failed after only 1 year 2 months. Only 10tb written total vs their advertised 600tb endurance. This is a common issue ... look up "Samsung 970 evo plus failure" and you'll see that many others are having this issue.

When I got the SSD plugged in, it was just fine until I played a game and halfway through the drive would “disappear” from my PC. I couldn’t use a program without it crashing my entire system. I went through various troubleshooting options and no dice.. so I just took it on the chin and returned it.

I wish I could give it no stars I had this part for a build I did recently bought it back in January do to the shortage going on I had the m.2 in storage as soon as I set the computer up it showed that this ssd is used I’m really upset I can’t even get my money back

I bought a HP laptop with a big screen but only 512GB of ESS. The sales guy and 2 Geek Squad “experts” had told me that they could upgrade to 1GB using this memory. I purchased this plus the 1 year Geek Squad service, waited 10 days and they finally gave me the news that this wouldn’t work in an HP big screen laptop. 1 star!

I bought this 6/20/2020 and I haven't had the time to intall it until yesterday, 8/5/2020. I opened it up and plugged it in and it reads 0.00gb. So it doesn't work and I can't return it. I make $20,000 a year and I paid $230 to a $30 billion company for a product that doesn't work and they won't let me return it.
