This is going back tomorrow! This thing sent my new PC into a boot loop and now it tries to boot and shows nothing on the screen even when removed. Screw this product. Samsung should stick to making TVs.

This ssd failed in half a year. The paint on it melted off and no longer works. PC has Ryzen 9 , 3060ti and 64gb ram. Buy a better ssd.

While it was working it worked fine. After one year it failed (Windows refused to boot from it and the BIOS detected it had failed).
Samsung warranty support is hard to find the right place to contact for SSDs, so be aware.

This has worked flawlessly for me, replacing a Kingston SSD that didn't quite work right. Samsung is more expensive, but in my opinion, you get what you pay for.

I bought this for extra room to go along with my 980 and 990 pro drives. This might be a Gen 3 NVMe but it is still more than enough for most people in terms of performance. Most people will get hung up on having the newest, fastest drive they can get their hands on and that's fine but if you are on a budget, this should not be overlooked.

For the price this terabyte SSD is great! Installation was easy - just note it doesn’t come with the screw to hold it in place to the motherboard so if you don’t already have one that will need to be purchased separately.
