Excellent picture and impressed with its upscaling capabilities and color depth. Bought this after trying a short throw projector. Very happy with my purchase. Sound is good, but recommend a Sound bar.

Intrigued by the size and picture quality. The base allows for an easier fit on my stand instead of the wide base on most TV’s. The solar powered remote adds to the advanced technology of most Samsung products.

This thing is incredible. How Samsung was able to get a 98 inch tv with low input lag and 120hz is beyond me. I’m sure these TVs will become much more affordable soon but it doesn’t matter because it’s been worth every penny.

Good TV - nice and large. The 4 is because on occaision, when i play Xbox, there is screen flutter. I have to go into TV settings and then exit for te flutter to stop. I don't make any changes, just have to open settings.
The one thing no tells you is that you cannot attach a speaker bar mount on the TV. This should have been mentioned at some point since I had mentioned and asked to have the mount moved from my 70" to this one. I assumed that there was a place to attach the mount, especially after mentioning this several times and was part of the install service.

Geek squad delivered my TV on Saturday. The TV is outstanding, picture quality excellent. The sound is outstanding. Excellent buy 98 inch Samsung TV.

This TV is amazing. The picture quality and vibrance is off the charts. The Sonos sound system compliments it beautifully. I feel like I am in the movie theater now.

This review is long overdue. The Oxnard store has a very poorly trained manager named Charley who is not only rude but also has horrible customer service. My husband and I were in the store on November 17, 2024, and purchased the Sony - 85" Class BRAVIA 9 Mini LED QLED 4K UHD Smart Google TV (2024). We returned a day later to cancel that order and purchased the TCL - 98" Class QM8-Series 4K UHD HDR QD-Mini LED Smart Google TV (2024). Once we had the TCL mounted, we realized the quality wasn't worth the $3,923.99 that we had paid. We went back to the store a couple weeks after that to return the TCL and purchase the Samsung - 98” Class Q80C QLED 4K UHD Smart Tizen TV (2023). We had a young lady help us who was chomping down on gum the whole time, she then called for Charley to come over to help us. Prior to that, she was speaking to who I assume was Charley over her earpiece and laughing the whole time. We explained to Charley that we weren't happy with the TCL and wanted to purchase the Samsung. Charley proceeded to tell us that we had already returned 4-5 televisions, and we weren't allowed to return the TCL in the store. He also mentioned that we were told by another manager that we weren't allowed to return the television. Both statements were 100% false. The Sony purchase was cancelled the day after (we never had possession of that television) and the TCL was returned a couple weeks after purchase and within the return policy. We also did not ever speak to another manager and was never told we couldn't return the television. When I asked Charley to show me which 4-5 televisions, we supposedly returned he wouldn't. He flat out lied, and this is coming from a manager. We called the 800 Best Buy number and within 20 minutes we had our new television ordered and the TCL ready for a return. Besides spending $3,999.99 on the Samsung television, we also spent $327.72 on other items on November 23rd and signed up and paid for the monthly Best Buy Protection Plan. We will never shop at Best Buy again. Best Buy needs to spend more money and time training these employees.
