I was looking for an internal SSD to replace my 5+ year-old SSD SATA drive that had Windows and a few other programs installed on it. This SSD was an excellent choice! I used Samsung Magician to easily and effortlessly transfer everything over to the new drive and now Windows loads up significantly faster. My pc is performing better than ever!

Although I trust Samsung SSDs more than any other brand, I'm disappointed that Samsung Magician does not fully support the 990 EVE Plus with all the Magician features (as of March 2025). Among the Magician features missing for the 990 EVO Plus are "Disk Partitioning" and "Performance Optimization". The 990 EVO Plus isn't even listed in the supported models -- and I have the latest version of the software. This, and the recent failure of my last Samsung SSD (990 Pro 2TB, failed a month after warranty coverage) make me a little more likely to research other options for SSD. I suspect that the Samsung EVO devices, because of their design and lack of onboard RAM, can't support those features. Still, it's disappointing. You gotta partition these large SSDs to keep things organized. I used another partition manager for this. On the plus side, I installed my 990 EVO Plus 1TB in my laptop, and it is ideally suited for this -- low profile, heatsink not needed because it has never exceeded 40*C.

I had no trouble installing it on my laptop — setup was simple and quick. The performance is excellent, everything loads much faster now. Great upgrade and very satisfied with the purchase.

This SSD is blazing fast with super quick boot times and file transfers. Installation was easy, and it runs cool even under heavy load. Perfect for gaming and large files, highly recommended for anyone wanting a smooth, responsive system.

I had already purchased a few of these, and so far, they have been great for Windows 11 replacement devices. They are fast and easy to install.

It does what it suppose to do and pretty reliable. Speed is good and only misconception is this is more like gen 4 drive instead of gen 5. So think of this as cheaper 990 pro and not 9100

Installation was easy and it just plugged right into the M.2 slot. Speeds are excellent and boot times are fast. Very reliable with no issues for me. Great SSD

Bought this to upgrade my HP Laptop Pavillion HDD. And the difference of speed to boot-up and open programs/apps are night and day. So far no issues after install and works great. cloning my old HDD to this amazing SSD went smoothly. I will be purchasing more of these SSD to upgrade my 2 other gaming PCs

Samsung is the best memory supplier for Hard Drive solid state alternative in the world. Their reliability is highest in the world. I have used Samsung memory SSD 2.5 Inch drives and M.2 Motherboard storage memory in all my computer builds. They are excellent performance capable drives. These are highly rated in the industry and personally for use by me.

Good value (at time of purchase) NVMe SSD. Note that it is DRAM-less, which has theoretical disadvantages for write-heavy tasks. For everyday, semi-intensive use it is a fast SSD that is efficient and runs cool.

My hard drive had to be replaced. This product recommended by my Geek Squard technician to meet my needs and my budget. He was correct. The driver performs perfectly. My computer runs faster and memory has increased. Excellent product.
