This has been functional so far. I have been using this drive for a few weeks. No trouble so far. Be sure to use the directions for your motherboard, as it likely has a heat sink that you put in on top of this.

Works great. Ran Resident Evil 2 remake off it with no problems. Kinda wished I went with a bigger option but I wasnt sure of this particular ssd. Now I know its a great product.

I bought this for an older machine, but found that machine did not support this, but it made me realize it was time to upgrade that machine. Bought some new parts and installed this in my new machine and works great.

Installed it in my ROG Zephyrus G16, and I'm really happy with the speed. Samsung drives always have a good reputation and reliability as well. Definitely a great budget option given the speed and specs.

FAST NVMe SSD!! Easy to physically install. Replaced original slow hard drive - Dell Inspiron 5570 laptop. Would not boot into Windows 11 after cloning and removing original hard drive. Solution, booted into Safe Mode which installed/loaded the NVMe driver (Device Manager, Storage Controllers). Restarted laptop - booted into Windows normally. *UEFI/BIOS modifications were futile.

Replacement drive for office device......after much spec comparison, this turned out to be the best deal and works like a charm!

⭐⭐⭐⭐✩ (4-Star Review – Honest + Positive) I bought this Samsung 990 EVO Plus SSD to upgrade my HP Omen laptop. The build quality is excellent and Samsung SSDs have always been reliable for me. Unfortunately, in my specific laptop model the drive wasn’t being detected, even after reseating and testing in both M.2 slots. I also tried my old SSD and realized my laptop’s motherboard or M.2 connector was failing, so the issue wasn’t the Samsung drive itself. The SSD never had a chance to run, but I’m returning it because I can’t use it with my current device. Customer service at Best Buy was helpful, and I’d definitely buy Samsung NVMe drives again once my laptop is repaired. This review is only about compatibility with my system — not the product quality.

I bought this to use with a new build. It is used with another Samsung SSD as part of a RAID-0 Windows install, and it is working just fine. I bought this on sale, and it is a good value.

It’s a solid state drive and does what it needs to the way it should, more than fast enough or any application you need, no corruption problems yet!

Great super easy install I was lucky enough to have a employee help me choose the storage (PC compatibility) first pc upgrate and it went very smoothly, lots of tutorials online but essentially its one screw to replace or add this storage.
