Samsung 990 Pro SSD Review

I use it for the boot drive on my PC and it shows. Windows updates take no time at all on the 990 Pro. Install was very easy and the performance boost has been great. Definitely reccomend it if you need a new SSD.

This doubled the speed from what I had. Be aware...the enclosure I originally used for cloning wasn't recognized by the Samsung software, so had to buy one that was. So if you have this issue, the UGreen and Sabrent NVME enclosure's are two that work.

There are no random disconnects that nearly fry the USB C port and its double the storage space at a much faster rate. I got mine on sale and it was worth it.

Read/Write is about 3 times as fast as my PNY value drive. I shaved about 8 seconds off of my DCS map load times. This drive is no joke. If you are looking for top of the line performance then you have got the right drive.

I cut some of the pieces in the case for it to fit. With the proper cuts it was a perfect fit. The performance was good on crystal mark and on par with specs. Overall, I am very happy that these speedy drives are becoming much more affordable than they were a year ago.
