Easy installation, great product so far! For the price, not too bad

My computer runs so much faster and smoother after installing windows onto it. Use to have it installed on an old HDD and it would take 15 minutes to boot it. It was ridiculous

While I do wish the endurance was higher - it is king of random 4k writes. Using consumer hardware in a homelab is dicey. But I'm hoping they may play nice enough to get decent ZFS performance (really need an ssd with power loss protection via super capacitor. Otherwise BTRFS is your friend. But if your information isnt mission critical, your using a COW or an other resilient file system (cough BTRFS). I have yet to test them. But having recieved a batch manufacturered october 2023 - shouldn't have any firmware issues. Any manufacturer date after September 2023 2TB drives may use the same improved flash used in the 4TB.

The 2tb are enough for large games and i don't have to worry about running out of space and having to delete games and re-download games especially if your wifi is slow.

Crazy fast and just works great for reading and writing large amounts of data that I use for 3d printing! would definitely buy more for my next build!

I normally buy Western Digital drives but the one I wanted wasn’t in stock. I haven’t had the drive long but so far it seems good and on par with the WD drives.

My first M.2 SSD. 990 Pro, 2 TB. And so far so good. fast load times on all my Steam games. You can't go wrong with Samsung. Perfect for a backup games drive.

I bought a 1TB 990 PRO and this 2TB 990 PRO. Using this 2TB for work and will be buying another 2TB for gaming. Wish I bought these back in october when prices were lower. Reliable and familiar, I had a 970 PRO for about 3 years and still doing good on my old system.
