my computer crapped out on me one mourning so i took it in to BB to get it checked out. i turned in my pc and told them all the symptoms. they told me they would do a full diagnostic and tune up and let me know what they found. a few days later they gave me a call and told me i had a corrupted drive. we discussed replacements and then had them install the new one. came back, picked up my pc and now everything works as good as new. everyone there was calm and friendly and very willing to help me out. i will be returning if anything ever breaks again.

This is one of the most realiable and fastest 4th gen drives you can buy and when on sale for 130 its cheaper than the 980 pro! Temps are great too, my only suggestion is to update the firmware with samsung magican, it will not only bump speed a bit but also stop the very early on drive problems.

Very high quality and fast NVME. I’ve have used Samsung ssds in my last three pc builds. I have had the Samsung Evo 850’s, 980 pros, and now the 990 pro. I have never been disappointed with the speed and dependability of these SSD’s. Plus, I got it at a great price. My PC boots, lightning fast, and my games and apps run great. I have a 1tb and a 2tb and I can’t recommend the 990 enough.

Quickly installed and copied over my system onto it. Can't really tell the difference between this 990 pro and the old 980 pro on everyday uses. I can only say there is no problem at all since I started to use it. And I know it is the best SSD so I feel comfortable and asure that I can rely on it.

Just make sure the SSD firmware is up to date with the free Samsung Magician software so it won't degrade extra fast. Other than that, this thing is a beast. Crazy fast, even for an upgrade over a standard SATA SSD. Pretty affordable for this much speed and space too.

Very fast. I was using a Sabrent nvme and this things just feels alot faster and more reliable.
