I just built a new machine. My primary drive slot is PCIe 5, so that got a Samsung PCIe 5 drive. My second slot was PCIe 4x4, so at the recommendation of others, I selected this drive. So far, after about a month, no complaints. I don't do benchmarking, so I can't compare performance, but based on benchmarks I saw on line, this is a well balanced, reliable choice.

Exactly as advertised and works perfectly. I had no issues with this SSD and installed easily.

Purchased as a media drive. At gen 4 speeds its even faster than my 980 pro by a little bit. I cant believe I was using a sata 6 hdd for so many years. Games install within minutes now vs 30-45 mins as well as copy and pasting games between drives. Now to wait until gen 5 becomes the norm and not so expensive.

Extremely fast nvme, even vs 4th gen, load times are very impressive. Just remember not to install in in the first slot on your motherboard, some motherboards will split the bandwidth between the first nvme slot and your graphics card pcie slot!

Such a good SSD. Samsung magician is trash though, would not recommend to use cloning. When using Macrium Reflect to do the clone, this thing works like a charm. Went from a HHD and woah… what a difference

Easy to install and very fast! Worth every penny! Samsung makes the best NVME SSD's.

Put in my computer works great. Plenty of space. Put into new computer and did exactly as it was new.

This one works. Replaced a flaky WD drive. Spend the extra $ to get a faster better drive. Your laptop will thank you.

I only had 250 gigs on my internal hard drive and my games were not running so good now with this upgrade everything running smoother and have so much space!

This Samsung 990 Pro 2 TB internal SSD PCIe is a game changer! Replaced my Samsung Notebook 7 Spin's basic 1TB internal SSD PCIe strip with this on and what a difference! Double the storage and more efficient use of memory! With all the other upgrade to this backup laptop, it is now lighting fast and better than when I bought it brand new!!!!

i got this to upgrade my laptop storage and Samsung is typically the recommended choice for gaming other than some crucial SSD's i do plan to purchase one more to upgrade my laptops main storage this was a upgrade from a 980 pro which i had gotten one or two years ago

Needed a compatible stick. Samsung comes highly recommend from our faculty here at Dixie Technical College and Best Buy had it. Works great on my son's new computer

I purchased this drive solely to use wit DCS world. It is one of the top PCIe 4.0 drives you can buy. Read/Write is about 3 times as fast as my PNY value drive. I shaved about 8 seconds off of my DCS map load times. This drive is no joke. If you are looking for top of the line performance then you have got the right drive.

Incredible speeds. I did a test and out of all the SSD's that claim a 2000mb/s read/write speed, this one gets the closest at 1800mb/s. Most of the external ones are half their claimed speed. Put this in an external case and you have the fastest SSD out there.

Works and works well with my motherboard for some reason though it didn’t come with the plastic covering on the ssd but it’s fine works perfectly.
