So, I am a, relatively speaking, new to the game PC builder as I have my first custom PC finished entirely and operational for roughly a month or so as of the date of this review, however. It worked out that it was on sale for the 2TB SDD model only and it was actually less than it was for Amazon Prime pricing, also. Plus $25 off in earned ‘certs’? Win (x3). Reading and writing speeds are second to none. Even with the loss of 2TB SSD, entirely worth it in my tight for time (and even moreso money) situation. Great buy and got things to work out in my favor for once! Even the small victories in the current economy are celebrated in my life, for sure.

It works really well. Speeds are very fast. I got a enclosure for it so it could be portable. Works like a charm

My drive reads 6030 MB/s for sequential read which is 80% of advertised from lab conditions. Pretty happy to have faster storage now.

The Samsung 990 EVO Plus 2TB is an absolute beast. I slapped it into my system and suddenly everything loads like it is afraid of being late. The speed boost is real, the capacity is massive, and it runs cool even when I am hammering it with AI workloads, video rendering, or my usual chaos.

I needed more storage for school projects (Game design). Easy to install and my PC instantly recognized it with no issues. Great upload/download speeds.

I own three of these, they work perfectly if you need a fast NVMe or ya play alot of competitive games. Just be sure to download the Samsung Magician wizard to update the firmware or the drive "Depending on the manufactur date" could have it's life cut in half. Other than that I would really recommend esp if you can get it on sale
