A good amount of speed and space for any boot or storage drive in a computer. Also if you are building ITX, not needing SATA Power or Data cables is life changing.

Use a lot of the Samsung devices of this type, first 990 Pro. Used in external Thunderbolt 4 device for backup - Fast and so far works as expected! Used to move large files between computers also. A little expensive but worth it!

Relatively affordable (compared to six months ago), speedy and sizable. Should be plenty for most people.

The Samsung 990 EVO Plus 2TB is an absolute beast. I slapped it into my system and suddenly everything loads like it is afraid of being late. The speed boost is real, the capacity is massive, and it runs cool even when I am hammering it with AI workloads, video rendering, or my usual chaos.

This is a good SSD and does what I need. I upgraded from a 1tb slower one, and the extra space is welcome.

Works perfect no problems. I like the samsung software vs the competition. Upgraded my lenovo legion 7i pro gen 8 ssd with this 2 tb samsung. The stock ssd was also a samsung 1tb about as fast as a 970-980 pro. Cant really tell a difference but benchmarks will tell another story. I only really game and it works great.

Got 2 of these for new pc build 100% glad i chose these instead of typical SSD hard drives. Super easy to instalk if your mother board accepts them. Does the speed they claim to do

Runs a little hot but nothing a 3rd party thermal solution can't fix. Other than that, this thing is a beast. Consistent Magician performance scores above 7000MB/s. Real-world performance when writing to and from another M2 or SSD is superb.

Despite Samsungs slight mishap with a firmware release of the older drives. These new 990 pro are some of the best money can buy while still staying reasonable overall in price. You can get cheaper drives sure, but you’ll get what you pay for, make no mistake. These are also some of the fastest gen 4 drives on the market while keeping great longevity.

Blazing fast, lots of storage, software use to be better and more responsive - but once setup with over-provisioning, you don't need to touch the software again - unless an update is pushed out. I use this for my OS and Game Installs. Side note - I have had all Samsung SSDs and not once has one failed. Rock solid.

Fast and reliable. Bought it as a new daily drive and it delivers. All my applications and games load fast as well as having a snappy feeling when multitasking. Samsun’s Magician software is easy to use and very helpful for keeping your firmware up to date along with a lot features to monitor your drive.

I just bought a Laptop, with just a 1TB SSD memory, so I decided to buy some more memory. I found this on a sale and I can say that is the fastest Hard Disk that I had in years and the storage I can say is enough for enough games in 2024.
