Use a lot of the Samsung devices of this type, first 990 Pro. Used in external Thunderbolt 4 device for backup - Fast and so far works as expected! Used to move large files between computers also. A little expensive but worth it!

I like this SSD, after researching which one to buy i was worried there might be problems with this one talking about it losing its health fast but not for me. So far it works great just make sure to download samsung magician and keep it updated. I ended up buying two. Wait for a sale as well, got my first one for 109.99

I needed more storage on my gaming computer. So I took it to the Geek Squad and they installed this. I’m very satisfied with it and have plenty of storage to download games.

Runs a little hot but nothing a 3rd party thermal solution can't fix.
Other than that, this thing is a beast. Consistent Magician performance scores above 7000MB/s. Real-world performance when writing to and from another M2 or SSD is superb.

I just built a new machine. My primary drive slot is PCIe 5, so that got a Samsung PCIe 5 drive. My second slot was PCIe 4x4, so at the recommendation of others, I selected this drive. So far, after about a month, no complaints. I don't do benchmarking, so I can't compare performance, but based on benchmarks I saw on line, this is a well balanced, reliable choice.

If you're looking for a reliable internal SSD, Samsung is the way to go.
They consistently deliver excellent quality and unmatched reliability. There’s nothing like the peace of mind that comes from knowing your data is safe and secure for years to come.

I just bought a Laptop, with just a 1TB SSD memory, so I decided to buy some more memory.
I found this on a sale and I can say that is the fastest Hard Disk that I had in years and the storage I can say is enough for enough games in 2024.

This is the best SSD I've had to date. I use it for the boot drive on my PC and it shows. Windows updates take no time at all on the 990 Pro. Install was very easy and the performance boost has been great. Definitely reccomend it if you need a new SSD.

A good amount of speed and space for any boot or storage drive in a computer. Also if you are building ITX, not needing SATA Power or Data cables is life changing.

Purchased as a media drive. At gen 4 speeds its even faster than my 980 pro by a little bit. I cant believe I was using a sata 6 hdd for so many years.
Games install within minutes now vs 30-45 mins as well as copy and pasting games between drives. Now to wait until gen 5 becomes the norm and not so expensive.

Extremely fast nvme, even vs 4th gen, load times are very impressive. Just remember not to install in in the first slot on your motherboard, some motherboards will split the bandwidth between the first nvme slot and your graphics card pcie slot!
