Performs very well, as expected. Easy to install and configure - at least on Arch Linux.

Mine came with the latest firmware and was on sale as well. At the sale price this is an easy choice over the 980 Pro. It performs well and I haven’t had any thermal issues either (I’m just using a super thin heatsink that came with my laptop). You won’t really notice a difference from a 980 Pro unless you work with small files. Windows feels very snappy with this drive and a bit faster at everyday tasks compared to my 980 Pro and SK Hynix P41 SSDs. Be sure yours has the latest firmware and you’ll be good.

I am so very glad that I purchased this drive. This is the fastest internal drive that I have every owned. My only regret is that I didn't decide to get the 4TB drive, instead.

High performance m.2 but recommend heatsink because they produce a lot of heat.
