I'm using this as my main OS drive. This thing is quick and temps are nice and cool at 100% read\write speeds. Installed on MSI MAG Unify X570 with the motherboards stock heatsinks. Tested it in a 75°F room and idles at 42°C and max's out at 50°F during 100% read\write benchmark testing Normally my room is 70°F so SSD usually hovers a little over 37°C

This drive is amazing almost zero load times, file transfers are almost instant, and the price was even better at $139. I only wished I had bought 2

They sent me a factory sealed EMPTY BOX. Contacted them through live chat and they said they were going to send a replacement. I thought they were going to send me a replacement, but then very sneakily they cancelled the replacement and didnt even sent me an email of the chat (though I requested it), and didnt even send an email that they screwed me over again by cancelling the replacement and wasting MY time.

I purchaesd 990 pro 2tb shipped to me was sold as new. Instslled in my pc and was a 970 200gb that somoeone put a sticker on and returned to store. It had windows on it Already

Got this on a sale, so it was a great value. Very fast drive, lots of space, and very easy to upgrade. Samsung SSDs have always been reliable for me. Definitely recommend.

I had no problem installing this 2 Terabyte Samsung 990 Pro M.2 hard drive. I divided it into two partitions, one as storage for my 3,000 audio books and the other for the operating system and such. I did a clean "Windows 10" installation and it runs like greased lightening. It was just what I needed and I got it at a great price.

There is not much to say that others haven’t already. This drive is the fastest gen 4 drive on the market second only to its 4tb counterpart and the sn850x beats it in a couple gaming tasks. Outside of specifically gaming this drive beats everything handily. The version without the heatsink is an easy install and complications only come from the motherboard or raid card you’re attempting to install it into and not the drive itself. Performance is great right out of the box. All I had to do was go into disk management and format the drive. Took maybe all of the minutes to get the drive installed and formatted. Would absolutely recommend this product on sale. I got it at 169.99 which is say is a very (nice) price to snag it up.

I have purchased 5 of these M.2 990 Pro's by Samsung now. I put four in a NAS and one in my PC. All have worked flawlessly. Super fast and easy to install in most motherboards or other hardware (NAS, PS5 (needs a heatsink), etc.) The Read/Write speeds with these are impressive. I look forward to where this technology is going with PCIE5 and the Gen 5 M.2's. We already get lightning fast transfers within the operating system but also system to system over the internet. No bottlenecks with this drive.
