The last time I ordered a PC, the fastest SSDs were still SATA drives limited to 500gb so this tiny NVME drive storing 2tb is nothing short of a miracle. The Samsung pro drives are well reviewed and deserve the praise.

What can I say? This is the top performing SSD out there. I have the Magician Software running and out of the box this drive came with the latest firmware. I feel confident that Samsung has permanently fixed any issues with this series of drives. I put this in a newer laptop to upgrade the space available and after running some benchmarks, this drive is almost twice as fast as the OEM drive in every benchmark test. I have had Samsung SSDs and USB Flash Drives for years and have never been let down.

It's fast and it works. I'm not sure what else I could really ask for. It does get hot, so if you can put a cooler on it, make sure you do so. A word of warning for anyone else who buying one to use with a 2023 ROG Zephyrus M16 GU604: To get it to work, you need to put the 990 Pro in the slot occupied by the stock ssd, and put the stock ssd in the second slot.

Recently purchased an Area 51 gaming laptop and wanted to expand my gaming storage. Installation was easy, games and files load extremely fast. The Samsung Magician software makes managing this SSD a breeze as well. Very happy with purchase and will upgrade to a larger storage down the line if needed.

The Samsung 990 PRO is one of the best SSD's you can buy on the market. I've installed it on my B650 motherboard from MSI and the performance has been great, I recommend to make use of your motherboards thermal pads as SSD's can run hot these days. I got this on sale for 135 as I configured it with BestBuy's Gaming Pc Bundle.

If you plan on gaming, this is a must! The drive is very fast and load times are incredible. I've installed two versions of CoD and a bunch of other games and I still have plenty of space left for more. Just wish they included the installation screw with the drive, as not all computer towers and laptops have a spare screw to install an extra drive.

I tend to just buy what the reviews say to buy and this was at the top of a Tom’s hardware review. It’s worked perfectly so far. The value/price for the size is also great

Fast, installed in my new ASUS G-14 2022 6800 model laptop from Best Buy , But after a week I suddenly lost my Bluetooth connection, then about ten mins later lost my WI-Fi, then a little later started getting blue screens .Removed my 990 pro 2TB and put the original micron SSD back in the laptop and everything was good again. Not sure how a new SSD would be causing problems after a week of using it. If anyone has a fix let me know thanks .
