Super quiet dishwasher. I like the third rack for utensils that don’t fit in the basket. Very nice extra features like it opens automatically after the wash cycle is done to help out the dry cycle.

This Samsung dishwasher that we ordered from Best Buy is fantastic, super quiet and does an outstanding job cleaning, sanitizing and drying out dishes.

The first and foremost decision for this dishwasher was the Fingerprint resistant stainless steel front panel. The old Bosch DW was real SS and I could never keep it looking clean and good. Second was the -42db level. The Bosch was -48db and you barley could hear it. At -42db it is dead quite, the only noise you hear is the soap dish cover popping open. Another nice feature is the utensil rack that allows you not to have to use the utensil basket on the lowest rack. I removed it and it clears up a lot of space. There is one installation anomaly, if your sink is in the right side of the dishwasher, the drain hose was problematic that caused me a inadvertently knick the drain hose that caused it to leak. The hose exits the machine at the rear at the other end of the tub and the hose is snaked across the bottom. There is a clip to hold the hose in place but it pops out when maneuvering the machine into place and it gets behind the machine, therefore, you cannot insert the machine all the way in since the hose is blocking it. I drilled some holes in the clip and use zip ties to hold it in place at the highest setting and it was still below the base of the sink cabinet. It was not possible to slide in the DW into the position because of the hose would bind into the side of the cabinet. After getting a replacement hose, I drilled a hole below the base cabinet and in the floor of the cabinet. This allowed not having to use the clip and keep the drain hose down on the floor and it was easily maneuvered into the sink base. The side hole to the sink base need to be at the floor level. The electrical connection was easy but it is also on the other side of the DW. A dedicated slot to hold it in place worked well.

Very good unit better than the linear automatic door open.. This storm wash plus model has the heated dry vent on the side as well and the auto door open for table ready dishes.. Spotless silverware and dishes unit looks good to match.. I would definitely buy this model again if I had too and you will be happy too. Paired with Smart Things app really takes it to the next level better and more responsive than any other Wi-Fi connected app and appliance. Samsung Smartthings is the leader in app connectivity.. Just look at the ratings for yourself.

Bought as a gift for mother, her older samsung unit kicked the bed. So i purchased this unit hoping it would be quieter. And its a night and day difference. You get what you pay for. No complaints as of yet

I was a little nervous about buying a Samsung product, given their reputation with appliances, this Samsung dishwasher replaces a five year old KitchenAid. It is even more quiet than the last dishwasher we had. Drying is way better. I like the app control ability. Stainless steel finish matches the rest of my appliances. I do like the towel handle bar, it doesn’t stick out as much as my old KitchenAid. I would highly recommend this model for sure if anyone is on the fence. 

My samsung dishwasher is wonderful! I love cooking & baking with my granddaughters which makes the multiple wash options great for my different needs. I don't even hear it when I'm watching TV in the family room. The removal of my old dishwasher and installation of my new one was (fast, clean andprofessional).

This is the best dishwasher I've ever had. The one thing that freaked me out the first time I used it was that the door opened up by itself when the cycle was complete. I didn't know they did that yet that is a great option as well

I installed the unit myself and it was a fairly simple change out. My only concern was the during the initial startup, the dishwasher was so quiet I couldn’t hear it operating! Overall my wife and I are very pleased with the appliance, besides it matches Samsung refrigerator.

Unit is less than 12 months old. Unit was installed by Best Buy. (I will never pay for that again.) Several core flaws - - gasket around front door does not cover entire door and leaks if unit is tipped forward AT ALL - 7 months in, gasket around front door has had to be replaced after leaking and ruining floor around dishwasher for "known issue" - WHEN IT LEAKS IT LEAKS THROUGH THE POWER SUPPLY!!! Has leaked consistently for almost three months. Service rep has been out four times. Still leaking. No help from Samsung on dishwasher or floor even though unit is still under warranty.

Dishwasher started leaking after 9 months out of the side where the pump is mounted. I called 1-800-Samsung. Sat on the the phone for over an hour jumping through hoops with someone who barely spoke English and this customer service agent did not get my email or account set up properly. Wasted time. This is their “Warranty”. There are only 4 service centers in the entire metro area. None were open last night. Upon further research it seems this is a common leak on a dishwasher that is less than a year old. It will not run anymore as it is throwing LC code.

Leak issues within the first year, followed by terrible service from Samsung. I'm convinced the service model from samsung is to just wear you down until you give up. I had a service call yesterday to address the leak - they spent 2 hours, left and now the unit is completely dead. spent another hour with samsung trying to get follow-up service and was told my "escalated" issue requires me to wait 24-48 hours for a follow-up phone call which will lead to who knows what. Dead dishwasher with no resolution in sight.

Works great and makes no noise. I am very happy with this dishwasher

This Dishwasher model is defective. Please don’t buy it. I bought a first one on 9/2022 and leaked water on 10/2022. I had to wait for a replacement thst came in on 1/12/23 and the third day started leaking qater from the right outer heater and will not finish the washing cycle due to a leakage error LC. I would recommend a different model that the storm wash

This dishwasher is near silent. Wash quality is 100% better than the older Whirlpool model it replaced.

Item works great, but arrived cosmetically damaged

We got a good deal on this open box unit. Unfortunately as soon as we installed it, the boot-up cycle that the book says to run gives a 5C error. That means there are problems with the drain system. We cleaned out the hose between the air gap and the garbage disposal, we made sure there were no kinks in the drain hose, we unplugged the unit for a while to let it reset. Tried again. Still 5C. Best Buy told us to call Samsung. Samsung customer service was difficult to deal with, but eventually got a service visit scheduled. They came out and took one look at it before even touching it and said "Oh, that model. That model always gives error 5C when the drain hose is hooked up to an air gap. The drain pump isn't strong enough to push the water up to the counter height. It's bad design. The unit will work fine during a normal cycle, just not the diagnostic cycle, which tests the systems stronger than a normal dishwashing cycle. It should also work fine if it's not hooked up to an air gap, but California requires an air gap." Then he proceeded to disconnect the drain hose from the air gap and let it drain into a bucket while running the diagnostic cycle. It worked fine. No 5C error. Just as he expected. So he said we could return the unit or just deal with it. He said sometimes it might not finish draining at the end of a cycle, and that we might see a puddle in the bottom of the tub. He told us how to trigger the drain cycle manually on the control panel. We decided to keep it. And it works fine during normal usage. If you search the internet for this error code, you will see people saying "this should be recalled." I have to agree. It's bad design. Once we ignored the 5C error, then the unit does run fine. It is quiet and seems to clean ok. The pop open door is nice so that the dishes can dry naturally overnight.
