Battery could be better
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s a good vacuum for small messes. The suction is great but what drew me away was the battery. It lasts roughly 18min on Turbo mode. The trash receptacle is also on the smaller side. The base/stand is a great design. I love the integrated trash bags. Overall it’s a great vacuum but just didn’t fit my needs I wish the battery lasted long.

Perfect addition to daily cleaning routine
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have a Labrador/Retriever mix. Just looking at her causes her to shed hair all over the floor. We use both full size and stick vacuums just about every day on all our various floor surfaces. I’ve been using this new Samsung Jet Stick Vac for a just a few days, and we love it! Out of the box assembly was a piece of cake. The main base stand and charging station comes completely prebuilt. The vacuum itself comes in three parts – the main dust bin handle portion, the telescoping stick and the brush head. You also get some accessories for crevice and dust cleaning, and 7 dust bags that install inside the charging station, one of them is already preinstalled. Just slap on the battery and you are ready to go. The base station plugs into the wall and the vacuum sits securely on top. While charging, you get a percentage readout on the vacuum LED display, as well as an indicator light built into the handle – yellow for charging and green for fully charged. The base station is well built and sturdy. The dust bin cover attaches magnetically to the front so its super easy to take on and off. The suction is amazing, you have control over 4 suction settings: min, med, max and jet. I found that for most hard floors, min and med were more than enough. When you really need to go after some debris, max and jet will get the job done. You also can see on the LED display how much run time the battery will give you on the different power settings. This way you will no longer have to guess how much time you have left before the vacuum dies on you. I found it does pretty well on certain types of carpet and area rugs/mats, but if the plush is too deep, the brush rollers will think they are stuck and pause themselves. The telescoping stick is awesome for raising and lowering the overall length of the vacuum. Whether to fit your own personal height or to reach tight spaces or extend further away from you, just a click and you can extend or shorten up to three adjustments. The vacuum is super light and never causes fatigue when using. It has a modular system where you can disconnect the main stick and simply plug the roller brush head directly to the main handle unit, perfect for sweeping out the car, steps, countertops, etc. then using the telescoping stick and one of the different accessory tools allows you to reach ceiling corners, behind appliances, etc. The only downside is I wish the dust bin was a little larger. With pet hair, it can fill up quickly, but for most day to day cleaning it’s more than enough. It has become a perfect addition to our daily cleaning routine.

Hands Down Best Cordless Vacuum
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had three previous cordless vacuums, which had various serious negatives among them—too bulky, too heavy, too hard to push or maneuver, short battery life, bad suction, and/or messy cleanup of dust bags/canisters. This Samsung Bespoke Jet cordless vacuum solves all those problems; it is hands down the best cordless vacuum I have ever had or used. To start with, the vacuum itself is very light, with a nice grippy ergonomic handle which makes it easy to push and pull while vacuuming. This, along with the swivel brush head, makes it very maneuverable into tight corners, under tables and chairs, and other hard to reach places. Yet it also has great suction power. There are four speeds to choose from (conveniently chosen with a quick touch of a button on the handle)—Min, Mid, Max, or Jet; you can choose the power of suction based on need. I particularly like the display showing the time left/level of battery. But not to worry—the battery charges up pretty fast, and it also drains slowly (it lasts a long time on a full charge, and even on a partial charge). The handle is designed so that a hand can get a good strong grip on it—not like other vacuums where it’s just a plain stump which easily slips out of your hand while vacuuming. There is even a telescopic neck so that you can make the total length of the vacuum longer or shorter, depending on your preference. But what I really, really like about this cordless vacuum is the clean station—the quick and painless way to empty the dust bin. No more dust exploding and puffing out everywhere like on other typical vacuums when dumping the canister. You just place the vacuum on the clean station (where it automatically starts charging the battery), simply press a button, and Voila! The dust bin canister’s contents are sucked away into the dust bag located in the clean station. And set up is a breeze. I assembled the entire system in minutes—just clicking the pieces into place. (Note: you have to download the manual from the Samsung website.) When completed, you will see that the looks of this Samsung cordless vacuum is the epitome of their Bespoke line—very classy, understated, unassuming, with clean lines and an unobtrusive appearance.

Poor carpet cleaning, clean station a bust
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.[ SUMMARY ] Poor cleaning performance on carpet. Clean Station dumping is not great. I would not recommend this vac, especially in households with furry pets. [ CLEANING POWER ] While the Bespoke Jet does OK with bare floors and low/no-pile rugs, when it comes to pulling up hair, fur, and dust from medium-pile carpet, it performs poorly. I’ve used many cordless stick vacs, and the performance of this vac for me is easily among the worst. On a carpet run with this vac on ‘MAX’ setting, it picked up less dust, hair, and fur than another stick vac that I immediately followed up with afterward, vacuuming the same carpeted area. Reiterating just to be clear, the Bespoke Jet vac failed to pick up *most* of the detritus in my carpet. With other vacs, the power of the roller tends to result in easier pushing, in some cases even being slightly self-propelled, but this vac’s roller doesn’t seem to offer the same advantage. It requires a good amount of manual force to maneuver the vacuum. [ CLEAN STATION ] The big gimmick here is the vacuum-powered dump built into the station. The idea sounds great, but this just didn’t work well for me. The problem is that dust, hair, and fur tend to collect around the metal mesh grille filter inside the dust bin of the vacuum cleaner, and the dumping mode of the Clean Station is insufficient to pull this mess out, thus requiring manual intervention to fully clean out the dust bin. This was not an issue with overfilling the dust bin (which has a pretty low capacity, by the way), and I didn’t vacuum up anything wet, damp, or sticky. Neither the vacuum itself nor the Clean Station offer a place to store the included combination brush and crevice accessories; it seems users are expected to waste more money and space on their separately purchasable accessory cradle for that convenience. Probably a unit fluke suggestive of poor quality control, my Clean Station tilts very visibly to the left. Using a level tool, I verified the base of the station to be level, then confirmed the top of the station to be quite un-level. [ BATTERY ] The battery runtime seems mediocre. It seems to get about 15 minutes of runtime at ‘MAX’ setting. The ‘JET’ setting really chews through battery charge and is thus only useful for spot cleaning. Fortunately, the battery is hot-swappable allowing for extended cleaning if you have multiple batteries, and theoretically allows for extended product lifetime compared to vacs with non-replaceable batteries. The run-time available from the battery is visible on the built-in LCD screen while using the vacuum, and the current charge level is visible when the vacuum is docked and charging. The battery seemed to charge reasonably fast, about an hour for the last 40%, for example. [ OTHER ] The adjustable length of the main pipe is an unusual but nice feature. It gave me a reasonably comfortable length when extended for main use, and the shortened length was helpful when cleaning stairs. The quick and easy thumb access to power and suction controls on the handle are very nice. Many vacs place these control in much less convenient locations. Unlike many stick vacs, the roller continues to operate while in a fully upright position. This helps when vacuuming carpeted stairs. While it’s possible to empty the dust bin without the use of the Clean Station, this doesn’t seem designed with that option in mind. The bottom hatch release button is situated on the rear of the dust bin, obscured by the main pipe when the dust bin is secured in place. It’s possible to access the button without removing the dust bin, but it’s probably better to do so first. Even then, the hatch release button was awkward to press and didn’t reliably release the hatch for me. The dust bin release button was even more awkward to use.
