I have had it for less then a month. You need to buy Ribse aid for the dry cycle. It is very quiet with a timer that tells you how much time is left. It is spacious with the 3 areas to put things. No problems yet but I have not had it for long enough. Best Buy took care of the installation and that went well. So far I like it and glad that I bought it.

I have had this for a few months now and I have not had any problems with this. I like the countdown clock on the machine. It cleans everything well. I have had no problems with this since I got it. It does require a rinse aid in addition to dishwasher soap to clean the dishes.

We bought the Samsung based on its advanced feature set and because it also had some promotions on it (free installation, good discount, and it was an "open box"). We had an initial malfunction which led to 3 service visits within the first week after installation, but the service response was excellent and it works well now. This may be the sort of issue that causes this model to be lower rated as compared to a highly regarded machine such as a Bosch. What I am saying is don't go by just the early ratings as posted by new buyers..

This is by far the best dishwasher I've ever owned. It's very efficient, and totally quiet to the point the customer wonders if it is really running. It has many interesting and useful features, including speed booster, completely washing and drying dishes in 60 minutes! Three trays for maximum capacity makes it a wonderful addition to my kitchen, not to mention the sleek and elegant design with elstainless steel exterior and led panel.

So, I'm going to preface this by saying my review is going to be long, and in two parts. The first part is in regard to delivery and installation. The second part, and what my star rating reflects, is the dishwasher itself. So if you're not looking to have it delivered and installed, go ahead and skip on down to part two.
1)
So, upon placing my order, I was notified the dishwasher was backordered. Not a problem. It was what my wife wanted, so it was what she was going to get. After around 4 weeks, it came in and was ready to be delivered. For my area, Best Buy uses a private contractor to deliver and install their dishwashers. This wasn't an issue for me, though I was a little taken aback when they showed up in an unmarked panel truck in everyday street clothes (tshirts and shorts), instead of a company vehicle wearing uniforms. No biggie. They were polite and friendly.
They walked into my kitchen (I have a large custom kitchen, but my dishwasher is directly next to my sink, just like in most homes), informed me that the hose they brought to connect my dishwasher to the water line just wasn't going to be long enough (they estimated it being around a foot short), and they didn't have any longer ones on the truck, so they'd have to leave my dishwasher and I would need to reschedule the installation. With that, they set my new dishwasher in my dining room and left. Needless to say, my wife was less than thrilled.
So, I made around a dozen calls, to Best Buy, and Geek Squad, speaking to various reps at various levels up the chain, before my installation was rescheduled for two days later. No one seemed to be able to tell me why the hose wasn't long enough, when I purchased the standard installation kit that Best Buy required me to buy, but they assured me it would all be sorted out. I was told by the contractor before they left that first day that I would be charged $45 when they came back for the new hose that was a foot longer (despite having already paid $30 for the original kit, which included TWO hoses). No one could explain that to me either. But I said fine, whatever it took to get it out of my dining room and actually get it installed.
So, Monday comes along. My installation window was between 2-6pm. I get a call at 5:45pm from the installer saying he was running a few minutes behind, but that he was on his way and would be there soon. So I am expecting him to be there around 6:10, maybe 6:15... At 6:50, he finally showed up. Had i have known he was going to show up an hour AFTER my appointment window, I wouldn't have had to take a second day off work. But again, he was polite, and quickly got to work, so I let it go. He removed my old dishwasher (which I had to help him move to my dining room), and had me help him move the new one from the dining room into the kitchen. He then got to work hooking it up. When he was done, he asked me for a check for the water line, which had somehow doubled. I was charged $90 instead of the $45 I was previously quoted, with no explanation of why. Then he left.
This is where everything really fell apart. I looked around, and my house was destroyed. There was plastic and cardboard and styrofoam everywhere. In my kitchen, there were two wooden trim pieces that surround my dishwasher to cover the gap on either side, both had been taken down and set on the kitchen floor, and just left there. I went to go use the dishwasher, and it made this awful popping sound anytime you opened the door. In addition, and this was the icing on the cake, I went to use my pull-down sprayer in my kitchen faucet, and it wouldn't pull down. I look underneath my sink, and the hose for my dishwasher (the longer one, since I was told the one that was two feet shorter wasn't long enough) was apparently too long. So instead of using a smaller hose, like I originally purchased, the tech just wrapped three feet or so of the house around the hose for my faucet, which made it so I couldn't use it.
So, in summary, trashed house, trim not put back on cabinets, dishwasher not functioning properly, charged $90 for a $45 hose that I never needed to begin with, and now I could no longer use my kitchen sink.
So, Tuesday morning I made another call to Best Buy, to speak with the rep that had been assisting me. Before I got through to her, though, I happened to get ahold of a friend of mine who is fairly high up in the company. He got in touch with the Regional Director of the contracting company, who called me personally. Friday afternoon, so a full week after it was originally supposed to be installed, the Manager of the local office for the contractor personally came out to my house. In 15 minutes he had every issue fixed and addressed, and returned my $90 check to me. In addition to this, Best Buy refunded me for the $30 install kit (that never actually made it to my house).
All in all, it was stressful and frustrating, but I was content with the end result. I don't know that I'll be having them install any more appliances for me, but I'm happy with what I've currently got.
2)
So, now we get to the dishwasher.
I read a lot of reviews before I bought this one, and the two biggest complaints I seen were that food was not being cleaned off dishes, and that dishes weren't being dried. Both of those will be addressed below.
The first three or four times I ran the dishwasher, I would open the door as soon as it beeped, and found that all of my dishes were still wet. I don't mean there was still steam or slight moisture on them, I mean the dishes were literally cold and dripping with water, and there was large puddles of water on the sides and bottom of the dishwasher. I even used the Dry+ option (which adds extra dry time) with the same result. I was convinced that the heating element was defective or not working.
I called Best Buy to use my protection plan to have a repair tech come take a look at it, and got transferred to talk to the tech to make the appointment directly with him. After talking to him, he tried to tell me that the issue was just because I didn't have Jet Dry in the dishwasher (the little trial bottle didn't come with it, and I hadn't gone out to buy it yet). Based on the amount of water and the fact that it was ice cold immediately after drying, I thought he was crazy, and all but told him so. He scheduled an appointment to come out, but I agreed to go buy some Jet Dry to try out, under the agreement that if it worked, I'd call back and cancel my appointment, and if it didn't, then he'd be out to fix it.
So, I went out, bought a bottle of Jet Dry, filled up the reservoir and cranked it up to the highest setting, ran a load, and wouldn't you know it, they came out bone dry and spotless. It's now been a couple months worth of using it three or four times a week, I've yet to have to refill the Jet Dry, and I've not had a single droplet of moisture inside that dishwasher since. I couldn't believe it, but it worked, and he was right (I guess that's why he's the repair tech, not me).
As far as the complaints about it not cleaning dishes goes, I don't know what happened with them. We've put dishes in that were rinsed off in the sink first, we've put in pots, pans and dishes that still had food caked on them, and everything in between, and we've never had anything come out with ANY residue or debris left on it. I've never seen a dishwasher that cleaned as well before (to give you an example, the dishwasher that I replaced with this one was a three year old Kitchenaid dishwasher that was their highest model series and best dishwasher three years ago, that cost me almost $1,700, and it didn't clean half as good as this one does).
So, I know that was a lot to read, but to sum it all up, I simply cannot recommend this dishwasher enough. It has WELL exceeded my hopes and expectations in every aspect. My wife loves it. It looks incredible. To top it all off, it holds almost twice as many dishes and silverware as my Kitchenaid of the same size did. If you're on the fence, take the chance and buy this guy. You won't regret it.

There is nothing wrong with this machine and lots that is right. It cleans like a fanatic and is easy to load. The controls are clearly marked so it is not really necessary to read the manual. I especially like the remaining time feature that you read when the machine is running. And it is absolutely the quietest dishwasher I've ever had.

I have had this dishwasher for awhile now and I still can't believe how quiet it runs. The 1st time I ran it I had to actually put my ear next to the dishwasher to see if it was running. Even then I could barely hear it. I also love that I can use the top shelf for the silverware. The only downfall that I have is that I am not able to put some of my taller glass's on the upper rack.

Overall, this is an excellent dishwasher in terms of performance, noting the new technology, the water wall. Dishes come out beautiful, dry, and exceedingly clean. The cleaning options are thoughtfully laid out, with just the right amount of options. Display on outside of dishwasher, matches our refrigerator and is really cool - the only thing I don't like are the racks - the very top rack (#3) is a bit quirky and is misaligned somewhat, and can handle a good amount of smallish items. The lower racks, we are still trying to figure out the 'right' configuration for placement of plates and dishes - not too intuitive. Overall, great dishwasher.

When they say "you get what you pay for" they had this dishwasher in mind. While it a very high priced unit, the cleaning ability and extreme quiet are worth the money if you have it.

This unit looks great and is very quite, which is an upgrade for us. I was a little disappointed in the low degree of drying this unit does and does not seem to clean our dishes as well as our previous 13 year old replaced unit. All in all, unit is just ok, I am NOT wowed. 3 stars for performance, and 4 stars for looks and low noise.

I’m very happy with this dishwasher. When remodeling I wanted my kitchen all Samsung. I purchased the brand new Samsung wall microwave /oven combo flex with big straight handles (love it too), I’ve had my Samsung French door refrigerator with a drawer for 3 years but it has nice curved handles & Samsung hasn’t released a full size (just have counter depth) Refrigerator with the straight handles (or without handles) to coordinate with the wall oven so getting the dishwasher without handles was a blessing. I’ve spent close to $100,000 on this remodel that was designed for a full size refrigerator- Samsung - please help me complete it (waiting 6 months now). The dishwasher is so quiet I forget it’s running until I hear the water going thru the garbage disposal.

I bought this to match the Chef Collection refrigerator and make our kitchen customized. It’s so quiet that you forget it’s running and looks sleek and stylish. Cumbersome to install but looks great after we finally got it level and aligned.

I was waiting to review this dishwasher because I wanted to make sure I still love it after using it for a few weeks. I do. Install was fantastic and I love the quick clean feature it has. We are a family of 3 and I don't like wasting water. With the quick clean feature, we use less water but it gets everything clean. As long as I use the drying agent in the dishwasher I don't have problems with the dishes being dry when I take them out. Just like with my old dishwasher, plastic containers still need a little help drying but everything else is fine. I love how quiet it is and don't have to wait until we go to bed to put the dishwasher on. You can have a conversation and watch tv and not have to shout over the dishwasher like my old dishwasher. At this point we love it and I would recommend.

After installing this myself we had an issue where the door would pop open and stop the washing cycle. After doing some research i found that this was a common problem.
Fixed issue after a few days - This machine has to be perfectly level, If you are unsure then have the machine tilted backwards slightly and this will fix the door issue,

This is my second Samsing Chefs Collection dishwasher. There was nothing wrong with the first one, J simply moved and had to leave it at my old place. You can't eev even hear it running! Excellent in areas where your kitchen and living/family room are open concept!
