The dual door works really well. Gas burners make roasting mini-marshmallows on toothpicks a breeze!

At the time we purchased this stove, we also bought a fridge, a microwave, a dishwasher, a washer and a dryer - all Samsung.
We will never buy Samsung products again. No one bothered to tell us that it is not possible to get Samsung products worked on anywhere near us. Nor, did we suspect that every item would within 2 - 3 years of purchase would require a major repair.
The range has blown a fuse within the electronics of the range every time I have tried to use the self-cleaning function. Now, the oven fan is malfunctioning and is screeching so loud it is impossible to speak above the noise. No one in our area can work on it. This range is only 6 years old! No more Samsung. Junk!

Does not hold its temperature

I’ve had my range for less than two years, and I regret my purchase. It was my dream range, and I stretched my budget hard to get it. The oven does not hold its temperature. For example, the display will say 350 but the interior will be 280. I have to constantly turn it off and restart. It happens almost every time, making it nearly impossible to use. My food is always burned or raw. Samsung’s warranties are short for a reason. DO NOT BUY this awful product. There is a Class Action Lawsuit forming.

Excellent! Two Ovens, Warmer, Accurate Burners

This range is fantastic. You get two ovens and can convert them to one if you wish. The burners are accurate unlike the GE ranges where you can turn them from low to high but nothing in between. The Samsung has great control all the way through the spectrum.
The oval middle burner works all the way around as well, the GE was spotty and never worked right.
The dual ovens are a great feature however I'm not sure I like the lower oven racks as they will take some getting used to due to their shape. You also get a warming drawer on the bottom to boot.
The range has a lip around to eliminate gunk building up in between the range and your counter top. This is a huge advantage over the GE Cafe model.
The oven is put together very well, very well built unlike the GE dual fuel ranges we've had. I would highly recommend this. I love the fact that I get a gas cook top along with an electric convection oven. The best of both worlds!

Love this stove but it could be better

We've had this stove for a little over a year and it is very good. I only have two small complaints that are bothersome. First, is that the oven divider cannot be inserted in some fashion that would allow it to be cleaned in the self-cleaning cycle. My only other complaint is that the largest (front-right) burner when it goes to its medium and low setting turns off the outer ring and then adjust the center ring. I don't like this because I am often using this burner for a large pan and this results in a small hot spot at the center the pan rather than a very low but uniform large area of heat. It would be better if it shut off the center portion of the burner instead. My third complaint is pretty picayune: I don't like that the cast iron center griddle does not have soft feet or raised pads like the grates do; this results in scratches on the stove top from removal and replacement during change or cleaning.
My other complaints are minor and to most cooks who are not product designers by trade of no consequence; as I am a mechanical design engineer and they are more engineering complaints than problems or things others would think of or be bothered by. First, I wish I could move the burners around as I often want lower temp burners in the front and the two front burners can be too hot. Sometimes this because of pan size and sometimes it is because what dishes I'm cooking and what needs the most attention during the cooking process, but I often want a large pan in the back and a small one it front and this stove does not accommodate this need. I am sure the burners could be designed so that the gas distribution manifold was the same for all burners and the burners regulated the amount of gas and the fuel air mixture released to the burner instead of having the manifold performing this function. Since the burners are already different from each other this would probably reduce product cost as well as improve ergonomics and usability. If you ever incorporate this please let me know.

Few Pros, Serious Cons

Pros: Attractive, with a very nice convection oven.
Cons: 1. Very heavy metal knobs connect via a thin plastic part that breaks with little use. Three of four of my cooktop knobs have broken in the first year and a half. $200 to replace them every couple of years (until they disappear from the market) makes this range a liability.
2. The "fast" burner's flame is too large for 12" frying pans. The flame licks out all around the pan. Anything smaller than 12" and you have to use that burner on a low setting. (Only my wok allows me to use this burner on high.)
3. The second largest burner is too large for pans smaller than 3 quarts, It tends to burn the outer circumference, even with high quality pans. (The small and tiny burners are just fine, but we hardly use them.)
4. The timer sound is so soft that it can't be heard over normal kitchen noise, or from an adjacent room.

Way too many problems, some small, one major

Bought this range just over 2 years ago, and have only been able to actually use the oven successfully for maybe 6 months total? Have had repair people out 3 times now, and it has been declared a lemon, and Best Buy (who's customer service has been wonderful - thanks guys!) is replacing it now (I will NOT be getting another Samsung). The burners run way too hot - it is almost impossible to simmer anything (an issue I noticed mentioned repeatedly in online reviews... AFTER I'd already bought the oven). Food in the upper oven is so close to the element, it will turn into charcoal before it finishes baking -so really only useful for broiling. The center burner is so uneven in heating the accompanying grill/griddle accessory is useless - your chicken breasts will be 1/2 raw and 1/2 cooked in certain parts of the grill, and your pancakes will finish in lots of different times - plus, it can only really hold 3 or 4 (not useful with 3 kids!). The biggest issue by far, has been repeated failure of the thermistors (temperature sensors). Sometime within the first 6 months of owning this oven, my food was always ruined - never finishing in the predicted time - sometimes only being 1/2 cooked - having to bake cornbread for twice as long (and I've been making my great-grandmothers cornbread for over 20 years. I know how to bake that!) - and then it would be overdone on edges and undercooked in the middle. I finally got smart and put an oven thermometer in there (I have three kids - I'm pretty distracted - took a while to get a clue). The oven was running anywhere from 50 to 125 degrees colder than the setting. No rhyme or reason as to how much colder it would be on any given instance. So using the oven was pretty much impossible. It was repaired, finally, by replacing the thermistors in Oct. of 2019, and it worked for about 2 1/2 months - and then started doing the same thing again. I even took a picture of the temp setting on the oven compared to what my thermometer said - 100 degrees off. They tried to replace it again, and now the touch screen has quit working -so I can't even turn the oven on at all. Thank heavens Best Buy is replacing it!

Stove lasted just 5 years. Now the control panel is dead and we have to buy a new stove. Our technician says it's not worth trying to replace the control panel, as we'll have the same problem in a month or two.
