I purchased this phone on an upgrade for my previous Galaxy note and it came with a free TV. My old phone worked well but this is much better with a longer battery life. I would recommend getting the most memory as possible to keep up with the many capabilities of this phone.

I love this phone! I had the note 3 and note 4 but this one is leaps and bounds better than those and I'm already used to not having expandable storage but the battery is so much better. Only reason i give it four stars is because i ended up getting the sapphire .

Love this device. Very intuitive and easy to use. Enhanced S Note functionality with air command, and the ability to take notes on a blank screen is a true convenience.

This phone has been everything it was advertised to be and ironically it seems like i learn something new to love about it all the time. I waffled literally for months between the Galaxy s6 the Edge and the Note 5. I love the fact that i can make a reminder note by just writing on the screen. Even when the phone is still locked. I can cut out info on a web page and then text it. The camera is so simple even a novice like me can take pictures like I know what I'm doing - well almost. I can truly multi task between surfing texting and talking. Yeah this phone is the next big thing. Love it.

I have found that I like the large screen on this Samsung Galaxy Note 5. A problem with it from the beginning though was trying to hang onto it with one hand. The glass back and smooth sides are really slippery so I had to get a protective case, in my case, I got a Tech 21 which really helped to not let it slide through my hands. I had my first Note 5 for under a month when the on/off button began to malfunction, sometimes not turning it on and others times freezing the phone on and unable to turn it off. Since the battery isn't removable, that took away the easy option of popping it open and removing the battery to reset it like I could do with my old Galaxy 5. I had paid for the service plan with Best Buy on the Note 5 and Best Buy came through for me and swapped the bad Note 5 for a new one that I hope will be a keeper.

Upgraded from Note 2. Much faster, better batt life. Only drawback is lack of sd card support. Get the 64gb model if you have lots of stuff.

Aside from the 2 obvious negatives (non removable battery and no external sd card support) this phone is the best note in the series...the screen is gorgeous. The camera is as good if not better than the lg g4. Samsung upped their game with even software enhancements. Still not at lgs level but a step in the right direction. Basically no screen lag. And as a power user i still wish they could have had a 4100mah battery in it. But with the fast charging cable as well as the wireless charging pad...i am a happy customer

Great phone, design ID, camera, screen, love the fast charge! Not so great on the lack of removable battery and sd card. Gorilla glass hairline scratches easy. Shouldn't be if we are paying for the high end phone.

Upgraded from the Galaxy S4. Nice large screen, easy to usem and you can use your fingerprint to unlock it! Its not as advanced as the iPhone's fingerprint lock, but it does the job! Picture quality is also great!

people complain of no exchangable battery or memory slot. but hey they have a battery case and memory case for that out there. over all the battery life is great. the screen is fantastic. the spen and that reversable broken problem is just people should pay attention really. everything is preventable, its like droping your phone in the toilet no less, just be carefull lol. it is a really great upgrade for those that have a note 3 or older. i had a note 2. so a great upgrade. those with a note 4 dont really need it.

    Switching from iPhone 6S+

There are things I really like about this phone. In particular, I enjoy being able to take notes with the stylus. I also really like the auto complete much better than what the iPhone did. Also, you can actually place the cursor where you want to while editing which is almost impossible on iPhone. Finally, I like the large screen. But there are things that drive me nuts: 1. Battery life is much worse than the 6S+. I could make it through 2 days without charging. Now, I frequently need to plug in when I get home from work to do anything during the evening. 2. There are things that are just plain goofy. The biggest selling point of the phone is the stylus. In the store they show you handwriting recognition. But, the phone out of the box doesn't do it. You have to install some additional software but there's nothing that tells you that. I found out by googling why my Note wouldn't do handwriting recognition. And, the recognition isn't as good as I had on an iPaq in 2002. 3. There seem to be different versions of basic software for the note than other Android phones. I installed Gmail because online reviews said it was the best email client for Android. It is almost useless on the Note and most of the online help doesn't apply. All in all, the feature I bought the phone for is worth it to me. But, if you don't want to be able to keep handwritten notes on your phone, get an iPhone 6S+.
