Unfortunately for me, whoever worked at the warehouse sent me a charger instead of the item I ordered.

The rings were not an exact representation of the size. When the actual smart ring arrived, it was a tighter fit then the plastic ring from the size kit.

You absolutely need to get the Galaxy Ring Sizing Kit before purchasing the ring. The ring may not be your normal size. The ring sizing kit has the shape of the sensors built into each one so that you can get an exact fit. If you're going to spend the money for the Galaxy Ring, you need to spend a few dollars on the sizing kit first. It's well worth it! One thing that I suggest doing (that I didn't and learned the hard way) is to actually wear the sizing ring for a while. Do what you normally do and make sure it fits the same throughout your day. I wore it for about 10 minutes on the hand and finger that I wanted to wear my Galaxy Ring on and that was it. After getting my ring and wearing it at work, I discovered just how much my fingers swell throughout the day. It became tight on my pointer finger on my dominate hand and I couldn't get it off. I had to hold my hand under cold water for a while and then it came off. I have since moved it to my middle finger and that has worked fine. I have larger knuckles, so it's hard to get it off some times. The sizing kit comes with whole sizes 5-13. There are no half sizes, so you will need to find which whole size is best for you. This gives you 9 options. I understand with what it takes to make these rings that adding half sizes would add a lot more that they would have to build, but it would be a nice option to have. Not having half sizes is the reason it isn't 5-stars for me. Other than that, you should definitely get the sizing kit first since it is specific to the Galaxy Ring.

Ring sizer kit saved me from spending the money on the Galaxy Ring. This is something i really wanted to get so when i got the ring sizer kit i seen that the rings only come in a size 2 to 13. I thought that my finger was smaller then i thought but i was wrong they don't make half sizes you cant cut the ring and refit it. This is an electronic item with senors in it. So when i tryed the size 13 on it didn't fit i was about a 13.5 to 14 ring size i do have finger swelling that happens when im out in the sun all day or doing a long walk or jogging. The heat does effect some peoples finger swelling. I would recommend getting the kit first it might save you money in case you get the wrong size i would suggest wearing the plastic ring for a day or two to see if the fit is right for you. I did go into a best buy and saw they had the kit on display and just about every test ring was broken in half. So i wouldnt go off a broken ring kit and think that would be fine. This was a good experience to try it saved me money and gave me peace of mind that i wasn't making a mistake by just ordering the ring and trying to make it work in my head just because i wanted it.

Had it not been for this sizing kit I would have inevitably chosen the incorrect ring size. The Samsung ring fits slightly different than a standard ring due to the various sensor nubs. This sizing kit takes them into account and offers sizing options across the entire available range. Samsung recommends wearing the sizing ring for 24 hours before making your selection, but i would highly recommend wearing it longer. Your ring size fluctuates throughout the day and can vary slightly from one day to the next. Something that feels comfortable one day may be extremely loose the next. Personally, once I settled on the size I waited another two days and actually discovered that i needed to go one size smaller to achieve the optimal fit and sensor placement. Once you make your selection I recommend that you continue wearing the sizing ring until you receive your actual ring. This will ensure your new ring fits comfortably from day one. Overall this sizing kit is an absolute must for anyone interested in purchasing the new Samsung Ring. It's a small investment, but I promise its worth it.

I was excited to get the new Galaxy ring and updated support for non-Samsung devices. I decided to hold off with the first iteration because it had limited functionality with my Moto. When ordering, I wasn't sure what size I should get or which finger I should use as some pictures showed people wearing them on their index finger rather than the ring finger. It's great they offered a sizing kit to size before you buy. When I received it and opened the box, I thought for sure they sent eight actual rings; they looked that convincing! Upon inspection, I realized they were plastic and noticed the little etched numbers on each. I'm happy I had a chance to try on the ring, not just to find my size, but also to see if I wanted to commit to wearing a ring that protrudes beyond a standard ring would; I noticed how much thicker when I compared it to my wedding ring (which is also quite thick). The Ring sizing kit was worth the extra little bit because it helped me realize the extent to which Samsung went to provide a product that wears unobtrusively.

When you want a Galaxy Ring, this kit is the way to ensure that you are going to get the correct size. This is obviously important, not only for the convenience of getting a great fit but also because as an electronic device the ring is not re-sizable. Other size adjustment devices to make a large ring smaller will interfere with the sensors on the inner band thus negatively affecting the function of the ring. In the box you get 9 "sample" rings that you can try on. They range in size from a 5 to 13, so if your fingers are larger or smaller than this range this product is now going to work for you. Although you only need to use this set once, it is well worth it. The attention to detail is not to be ignored. They are very similar to the actual ring and give you a good idea of what the product will feel like. They have reproduced the internal contours too furthering the accuracy of the sizing result you will achieve. This trial sizing set will give you piece of mind that your Galaxy Ring will fit perfectly when it arrives.

The Samsung Ring Sizing Kit was a lot higher quality than I thought. Normally you're given very cheap flimsy rings. These are exact replicas of the actual ring. The sizing was also more involved than I thought. There is a great informative video to explain how to get the best size. They ideally want you to wear the stunt ring for 24 hours so that your finger has the chance to go through the size changing cycles. Wear it longer and on different fingers to figure out what works best for you. That way you know for sure the size you chose is the most comfortable. Also they point out that since there are three big sensors on the inside, this ring might be a different size than you're used to wearing and that's represented in this kit. After that who knows what you do with them. Recycle? However, I think this sizing kit is a must do for the price of this ring to ensure a perfect fit. I have not been disappointed since the actual ring came in. Plus it's effectively free since you get the money back to put towards the real ring.

Is it a bit odd to review a sizing kit? I don't really think so. People will spend their hard earned money to get a tool to assist in getting the right fit for your Galaxy ring. The purpose of the kit is to get the perfect fit and it is recommended to use the ring on an index finger, in which I personally wear rings on my pointer finger anyway, so that did not pose an issue. The sizing kit comes in a very good presentation, much like the box you get when you purchase the Galaxy ring. You are presented with some literature which tells you how to wear the ring to size properly. Each sized ring is made with rubber but comfortable rubber rings. It is recommended to wear the most appropriate sized ring for about a day to determine the most comfortable fit. The reason is being that ones fingers do vary depending on what you do during the day. It could be a humid day, or you could be eating more salt in your diet than normal, a various amounts of factors can change the size of your fingers. Also, each ring is made with the bumps to simulate what the actual Galaxy ring feels like. So if you think you are a specific size, it may change based on the ring itself, not just your size of your finger. I am a size 10 ring in the galaxy ring, where I normally wear size 9 normal width ring on my pointer finger. Just keep that in mind that each person is different, so that is why the sizing kit was created to ensure the best fit so you can comfortably use the Galaxy ring, which I am currently wearing right now, thanks to the kit!

I’m probably one of many people who have no idea what ring size fits them since it’s been years since I’ve bought a new ring. On top of that, I don’t know which finger I would want to wear the Galaxy Ring when I get it. So, prior to ordering the Samsung ring I went to a national jewelry store and asked to be sized. Since I had decided to use my index finger, I was sized at 12.5, 12.75, and 13, all for the same finger. Even with me now knowing the size, I decided to get the Sizing Kit to ensure that I had the sizing correct. The Sizing Kit comes with 9 plastic rings sized from size 5 to size 13. There are no ½ or ¼ sizes available, by the way. I found that a size 12 was good fit for my index finger, though it was a struggle to get it over the knuckle. More testing occurred resulting in me choosing the size 13 ring. It passes over the knuckle without issue, plus it’s less tight than the size 12 ring. After wearing the size 13 for a few days, I found that it was a much better long-term fit than the size 12 was. The size 13 was in fact very comfortable. For me, the Sizing Kit gave me comfort in knowing that I was selecting the proper ring size. I would recommend it to anyone looking to get a Samsung Ring.

The Samsung Galaxy Ring Sizing Kit is required to ensure a proper fit of the Galaxy Ring. Request a ring sizing kit (currently free on the Samsung store website) or be fitted in select stores (my local Best Buy had a full sizing kit available on display). The available sizes range from 5-13 and there are no half sizes. The sizing rings also come with 3 plastic bumps on the inside to mimic the sensors on the actual ring. Samsung recommends the index finger be used for fitment as it offers optimal sensor performance and accuracy, but I opted for my ring finger as I found it to be more comfortable. The sizing kit sample ring size matched the size of my wedding band, so I felt confident going ahead and ordering the ring immediately instead of wearing it for the recommended 24 hours. Samsung does specifically state that their sizing differs from regular ring sizes, but I didn’t find that to be the case. When I put on the actual Galaxy Ring, it fits perfectly and is comfortable. It is snug enough to stay on but not too tight that I can’t get it off.

I found this a simple and easy to use ring sizing kit. This makes getting the correct size for the finger you're going to wear the galaxy ring on a breeze. Nice that Samsung includes this with the Galaxy ring that way there's not multiple trips to the store when purchasing the wrong ring size for the finger you're wearing your ring on. Easy to use includes sizes for small fingers all the way to larger fingers basically a plastic template of what the Galaxy ring looks like and how it will fit. Nothing fancy just a ring sizing kit with multiple sized rings in it to try on and make sure you get the right finger and the right size for the ring. Comes in a standard cardboard Samsung box with the rings inside of a foam kit labeled with each ring size. I'm not sure if other smart ring manufacturers include this in their purchasing package, but I would say it's a must to make sure you get your size right when choosing your finger you're going to wear it on. I definitely recommend using this kit when purchasing the ring.

This was a wonderful idea on Samsung's part. The sizing kit allowed me to try several different sizes of ring on several different fingers, until I found the size and location I was most happy with. The rings in the kit are the same exact shape, size and weight as the actual Rings, so that I could get an exact impression of what it would be like to use the Ring long-term. Samsung recommends using the ring on your non-dominant hand, and preferably index or one of the middle three fingers. I found that even the size 13 was too small for my index or middle fingers. Also, since I already have a wedding ring on my left ring finger, I finally compromised and now I am using the Ring on my right ring finger. I would not have been able to determine all this without the sizing kit to assist me. Best of all, as long as you have decided to buy a Galaxy Ring, the kit is free. I had the kit sent to me rather than try at the store, and that add a step to the ordering process, but the wait was not long.

The Samsung Galaxy Ring sizing kit is not only a good tool to size your Galaxy Ring it is also a nice kit to have around. You can use this kit to size any of your fingers prior to purchasing a Ring. Show it to your significant other and you can both try on different fingers. Then you will know what size to get him or her when a special occasion comes and you want to get them a ring. Despite the Galaxy Ring sizing kit having a nice storage system One area where it is lacking is half sizes. Not only do I think Samsung should offer half sizes, I believe they should go up to at least 15 with the sizing kit and the Galaxy Ring. I wear a 13 ½ and I know there are plenty of guys with bigger fingers than mine. What they could do is offer a second Ring Sizing kit with the half sizes up to 14 ½ and include sizes 14 and 15 as well. I am sure there are plenty of athletes that would like a Galaxy Ring that will not be able to get one because Samsung does not make their size. Think about football players and basketball players and how many of them have large hands. You can add powerlifters to that list as well. All of these people would benefit from the features offered by the Galaxy Ring. So while this sizing kit is a good product I think Samsung needs to step up their game and offer some more sizes.

As of right now, you essentially get this for free (cost of tax, really). I really recommend it if you're planning on getting the ring, since while you can try out ring sizes at your local Best Buy, you obviously can't bring the display pieces home to sleep with or shower with.

These are a great way to test out whether i wanted to purchase the samsung ring. Ive worn two seperate rings trying to figure out which finger i want the ring on. Very worth while.
