The Samsung Galaxy S10+ is the best new phone introduced. The new larger screen, camera resolution, and sound are an excellent upgrade to previous galaxy versions and thus worth considering as a new purchase. Transferring the pictures from the Gallery to the computer practically do themselves and the phone process is very user friendly.

A very nice phone have a lot of features it takes some getting used to . I just love the camera. I had it a month now so I'm still experiment with all the features and feeling my way around...but for me the downside is it have a lot of apps that I feel that is unnecessary and I think it's just part of the system or built in If i could remove some of those apps I would.

    Annoying Moisture Detector

It hasn't been three years yet and I can't charge the phone any more due to moisture detection. Haven't drop the phone in the water and follow the instructions on Samsung and YouTube but couldn't bypass the detector so I can't charge the phone using USB port. Only option is to chsrge Via wireless charger (thank God) and it's already pass the warranty period. Other than that it works great, especially the camera. I'm not a heavy user but onlly go on line here and there so I don't need to charge until the next day. But after two years, the life span of the battery seem to go down, which is to be expected, so I need to charge it by bed time. It's not cheap and since it's less than 3 years old, and for that reason, I'm giving 3 stars.

Preordered the S10+ and received the day of release. Battery life: 5 of 5 - Mild tasks (email/browsing/music) and the phone lasts over a day without charging Size/weight - Although I'm accustomed to the normal S sizes (owned the 4, 5, 6 and 8), I'm suprised over how light and screen coverage this has. There was an adjustment period but I can still use the phone with one hand. I am slightly disappointed in the pre-installed screen protector because of how easily it can get scratched (dang you Pokemon Go). Pre-installed apps: Never found use for Bixby but I dont find myself pressing the button as much. Functionality: The screen size from an 8 is noticable in a good way. You can fit more icons than the 8 (I assume the Note is the same), but wow the speed/smoothness/loading time in swiping and accessing apps - bar none there is a huge difference from the S8. Security - I'll be honest - despite all the initial s8 reviews over the fingerprint scanner in the back of the phone, I liked it. The new fingerprint scanner takes longer and once in a while I'll have to unlock my phone by other means. Hopefully this will be improved with firmware updates. Camera - I dont take selfies but for photos it is awesome. I'm still on the fence on the video quality in low lighting situations but let's be honest - quality low lighting videos are best left for DSLRs with high quality low f-stop lenses. Overall - 5 of 5 - Owning the S4-6 and 8, I can see Samsung stepped up their game for the S10+ (I was contemplating on holding out on the Fold but didnt want to risk being an early adopter after reading the other competitors take on folding phones). - Reviewed by a former early iPhone user that has family members that currently uses iPhones/iPads/iMacs

Warning: extreme bias ahead. I've had nothing but Samsung phones for about 5 phones now, going back about a decade. I've tried to use that other major brand (the fruit who shall not be named) but I just don't find them to be intuitive or user-friendly, especially when you learn to master the Swype feature common to Samsung. Each new Samsung phone I buy always greatly exceeds my expectations and this one is no exception. It is ridiculously fast, very user friendly, and the screen is awesome. I didn't think I'd like the screen edge initially, but I actually really enjoy watching videos on it. The edge popout menu is very convenient for my commonly used apps and is a great feature, in my opinion. The battery also lasts forever. I forgot my charger one day, was at work for over 14 hours, and my battery was still going at about 25% at the end of the day with some pretty consistent use throughout the day. Also, this phone charges much faster than I'm accustomed to, which is really nice. The camera is a big improvement over the S7. I don't use it often, but I have noticed that the pictures are sharper and much higher quality. I didn't think I'd like the screen protector that comes with the phone (already in place straight out of the box) but it's barely noticeable. Despite the screen protector, the screen is actually very sensitive, which is also a nice improvement over the S7 which was much less sensitive with a screen protector. The built-in fingerprint sensor is very convenient but does take some getting used to at first. I am required to have extra security on my phone by nature of my career, and it's so much easier to use my fingerprint than it is to put my PIN in every time I need to unlock my phone. Additionally, I have a Gear2 watch and it paired easily with this new phone. Transferring data, contacts, preferences, apps, etc. over from my old phone was incredibly easy and fairly quick, especially with help from the salesperson. The ONLY gripe I have about this phone so far is that I can't (or haven't figured out how to) change the notification sound to a custom sound, something I was able to do on my S7. I am hoping that eventually I will have that option.

I bought this phone for my youngest son as a birthday present.Of course he loved the Ikonik promotional skin for Fortnite included on it.But it is one powerhouse of a phone as well. With Android's latest OS and constant updates for security and new improved features, this phone is a beast.Plus the onboard 128GB of storage is nothing to sneeze at as well.Is it that much better compared to the Note 9?Not a whole lot,but if you don't need the extra weight and stylus that the Note has with a slightly improved camera, processor, and battery life,(and don't mind paying more for it)This is the phone for you.

Obviously most new phones feel like they're snappy. But never has a new phone felt so good to me. I'm coming from an S7 edge and the disparity here is massive. Even day one the amount of multi-tasking capability didn't come close to this. And the battery life is incredible. I'm going through full days of steady usage/surfing with multiple tabs and ending with 50+% of the battery. Hoping this lasts lol! From what I hear the phone learns usage patterns to help preserve even more battery over time so I'm looking forward to that. It has less OLED pixel smearing/ghosting at low brightness than any other AMOLED screen I've used. So I get to save battery without as much annoyance. The punch out is great and I mainly forget it's there. Camera is the best I've seen outside the Pixel 3. But that's because of software. The headphones by AKG are really solid for an included pair of headphones. These are better than many $40-50 in ear buds I've used. USB-C and quick charging is great. Still has a 3.5mm headphone jack! Pre-installed screen protector. Though I don't know if it's PETG plastic or what material it is. Chance it will have to come off later as it begins to stain if plastic. Cons Supplied charging cable is crap. It works fine. But it feels wimpy and cheap. I bought a couple of extra cables from a company called I-orange after extensive research. Not the fastest cables possible. But the LED status lights on the cable themselves (on the gold model only I believe) are really nice. As with all edge phones it's very easy to accidentally pinch or interact with side elements without a case with raised edges. I find myself hitting the sides accidentally all the time during usage and it's a pain and has been a pain since the S7 Edge. The promotion for the galaxy buds were a huge annoyance. Make sure you submit your Pre-order receipt. Not actual receipt. This is not made clear. Really would have been best to have these provided in store for pre-orders

Love the vivid bright clear display. Full screen is a plus. Have always been a Samsung fan. Never had a plus before. Was a little hesitant that it might be too big. Nope. It's perfect. Very smooth and sleek. 1 thing I don't like is. It does not have a missed call or text led notification light. So no way of knowing if you missed a call or text without looking at home screen. I had to download another app for this. Other than that. I Love it..

I would say this is tied for the best phone I have used. Super fast, great battery life. Only dislikes would be the amount of folders android uses and the sensitivy is so high you accidentally open apps on accident. Besides that amazing camera and great size. I also had 3 iPhones before this, so my opinion is unbiased.

Upgraded from Galaxy 7 Edge. Bigger than that, faster and more responsive in every way. Face unlock is much faster than expected, fingerprint is so-so. Even better on wireless charging. Loving the cameras. Battery life has been pretty good. Will be interesting to see when we get Android10 on AT&T.

This is a copy and pasted review...but I need to add a few things, being my wife has the second one. (Additional information at the bottm). I waited for this phone for over a year...it really is what was advertised, the cameras are amazing (Still learning), the speed of the phones second to none, and last but not least the new UI is seamless. I'm still playing and learning about this phone daily, as I am customizing it to fit my needs. The price was on par to the tech and orther higher end phones, the fit and finish as well. I'm not bothered by the hile punch as much as I thought I would and others claim, actually i dont find it to be intrusive at all. The apps are smooth and snappy. The images from the cameras are truly amazing and I'm starting to familiarize myself with all the new tech. Overall a great phone and priced right...and the best thing about this phone is you buy one and get one free, you cant beat that.!!!!! My wife loves the faster responds from the wifi and the speeds while surfacing on the web is much improved. The expanded storage makes for an easier time recording extended videos and viewing them is amazing. She also loves how fast this phone feels over your previous S9 to which she upgraded from. The color choices are limited to which sucks but her phone is in a case soooooo. 2 nexted level flagship phones for under $1000.00 wow.! The cons are really a short list of things they could have done better and that's covered over the 1000's YouTube posting. But being real and honest they hit a triple on this phone, not an homerun...but so close it feels like a homerun. We are Samsung fanboys being transparent but really it's the product that wins us over not the hype. This phone is really amazing, Try it and see for yourself.!

    Galaxy S10+ - A Winner!

I pre-ordered my Galaxy S10+ after being on the fence about whether to upgrade from my Note9 and I'm glad I did. This phone is definitely a game changer and here are just a few reasons why: Weight: Coming from a Note9, this phone feels like a feather in my hand, which I really love. Display: The display is crisp and brighter than ever before. Samsung seems to have scaled back on the color saturation and everything just looks natural and beautiful. Speed: This phone is super fast. I thought my Note9 could not be beat, but this phone is noticeably faster in every way. Reverse Wireless Charging: For me, this solves a real problem that I was experiencing. I always loved rocking my Samsung Gear S3 smartwatch in always-on-display mode, but my battery was next to zero by the end of the day. No more worries when I have my Galaxy S10+ with me. Camera: This camera is super crisp and takes great photos without even trying. I especially love the Live Focus "Color point" effect that allows the subject of the picture to be in color and everything beyond the subject to be in black & white. I can go on and on, but the bottom line is that this phone is a definite Winner!

Great screen, very fast, nice feel in the hand. It is a touch narrower looking than my old Note 5 but feels better, and is easier to use one handed. The total screen size is large and you sense that. Its plenty big. Easy to read. The camera is also very good even in low light so far for me (saw some complaints about that). This version of Android is slick and with what Samsung adds on makes for a nice sensible menuing system fully customizable. I have had it for a few weeks now, have fully set it up and customized my pages and apps, and I must say I am very impressed with this phone. There are deals for $200 off now for 128Gb (plenty). I dont think you can go wrong here on the Android side.

I went from a dying Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge to the S10+. My only aggravation is having to re-log into all my applications and set up the settings I am used to, but once that is done this phone is amazing. The 3 cameras on the back make great shots and built in effects make it fun to play with the two camera on the front give variation for selfies. The phone is super fast, it lasts longer than a day with lots of use on my part... it only gets to about 50% by the end of the day... compared to only a few hours on my old phone. If you love the note... wait... otherwise this phone is a vast improvement and is worth it!
