There’s also more applications that makes her love the phone even more.

To wake up the phone, you have to press the power button on the side instead of the home key, and the charging cable is no longer a micro USB cable. It is now a USB C type. Many of my devices use a micro USB and now I have to have a 2nd type cable. That said, the battery life is good. I have not used Bixby or the Edge feature. I also uninstalled several of the apps that came with the phone.

Samsung doesn't lie when they say it's an all-day battery. With light use, I can go 2 days before charging. With heavy use, I still have enough at the end of the night if I had to push it longer. Wish they had put in this effort generations ago, but I'll take it now. Hopefully it is still as good a year or two from now.

Quality, ease of use, battery, holds a lot of pictures. All good. The only thing that I cannot get the "hang of" is the camera. Shots taken outside of a bright perfect day seem to come out less than 100% clear. However, that might be the user. Samsungs are intuitive to me. Better than other phones. Purchased mine on Black Friday sale.
